I can't believe after 3 1/2 years using Janson Beckett products this is the first time I have this darling travel kit in my hands. The first of October I'm going to San Diego. To pack 4 oz. bottles of AlphaDerma, Skin Prep and Cleansing Milk is no longer allowed by the airlines. I don't like to check-in items I must have.
Anti-Aging On The Go contains 1.5 oz. of AlphaDermaCE, Facial Skin Prep and Cleansing Milk. It also contains 1/4 oz. of Okusil. It comes in a darling, clear travel pouch that you can zip lock. The travel pouch is sturdy so you can use it over and over again. The pouch also has a pretty floral insert. EDS has free with purchase Janson Beckett's C&C. As all item fit perfectly in the kit I will replace the Okusil with C&C. I use C&C daily and the 1/2 oz. will fit perfectly in the case.
Many times I overnight baby-sit my grandchildren. I tend not to bring my skin care routine as it's too much of a hassle to lug along large bottle. Three of the four products in On The Go are in tubes. While I love my skin care packed in glass bottles, tubes are much safer and lighter for traveling.
The sizes of these products will last a long time. They are actually considered full size by most skin care companies standards. I have not opened them yet but wondering if when empty I can refill On The Go from my 4 oz. bottles.
I would like to see Janson Beckett make this perfect kit just a tad larger to include their fabulous Night Cream in 1.5 oz. Then, I would have it all.
For all JB uses out there "On The Go" is the perfect travel kit. It can even be used as full size products for those with small space. |

Thanks Winnie, I am definitely going to check this out. I always used to purchased the 5 day sampler pack for travel but this would be much nicer. Question: Do you know if these sizes would be permitted to be carried on a plane?
Thanks |

Winnie, if I got this kit as a little gift for someone who had never used the JB products before, how long do you think it would realistically last? |

The AlphaDermaCE, Mineral Prep and Okusil would last approximately 5 weeks. The Organic Cleansing Milk if used twice a day should last 2/3 weeks. I go though 1 oz. of AlphaDermCE and Mineral Prep a month. One pump does my face, neck, and declotee. You need use very little Janson Beckett products. They are very spreadable. |

I use JB's Hi Performance as a travel set. Contains 1 oz. each of AlphaDermaCE and SKinPrep, .5 oz. of Okusil. I decant from my 4 oz. bottles into the 1 oz. containers, perfect for travel and weekend holidays. |

Havana 8, I have been using this kit for over 6 weeks and although the cleanser was used up in 3/4 weeks, I still have loads of Skin Prep left, about 1 or 2 weeks of the CE, and loads of Okusil. I have used them daily (only missing a few days in all that time). As Winnie says, a small amount is all that's needed, as it spreads really easily. |

On JB website and EDS it states the Cleanser, Mineral Prep and AlphaDermaCE are 1 oz. I have kit in hand...All three of the products mentioned say 1.5 oz. on containers. Doesn't really matter it either way. |

I may have to try this kit. I found that the 5-day pack just wasn't enough product to really make an informed decision. This kit seems like a good deal and will last enough to see if it really works it's magic on me, too! |

Winnie - I have read other threads where you indicate that you do JB in the day and Copper Peptides at night. Where do you fit in the Night Cream - after the CP ??
(You're kind of my role model, as I'm more interested in the cosmetic routines of women over 50, and you have said so many positive things about the products you use. If only everyone's skin was the same!)
Thanks. |

There are times I switch things up and use the Janson Beckett line at night and CP's during the day. I tend to do this if I feel my skin needs more moisture. JB's Night Cream is a nice treat for my skin. When I go to CA the first of October I will need the extra hydration after a five hour flight.
You should not use any JB products at the same time as CP's. The only JB product that can be used prior to CP's is Mineral Prep. Using JB and CP's won't hurt you but will cancel out the benefits of the C's in Janson Beckett products. |

I thought using C and CP's at the same time cancelled out the C too but I was reading a newsletter at Dermdoctor.com today that says:
Do not apply vitamin C products (like Cellex-C or SkinCeuticals) at the same time as copper containing products (Neova) as the vitamin C can neutralize the copper. However, you may certainly apply them at the same time to different areas of the skin.

Hmmmm, I wonder... |

Thank you havana8. Now I am totally confused. As you, I always thought CP's cancelled out C's.
I will have to look into this further. |

I think what dermadoctor.com is saying is that you can use C in one area (forehead for example) and the CP's in another - cheeks for example. Just not on top of each other. |

Winnie, I came across a similar reference in a Neova product description that again indicates that it's the copper that becomes deactivated when the two are used together....
NEW! Neova C-Protection Creme -Neova-C contains a revolutionary formula that contains 10% L-ascorbic acid in a stable, water-free environment for maximum stability. The vitamin-C begines to act when Neova-C comes in contact with moisture in the skin for maximum effectiveness and optimal results. Do not mix with the Neova Copper formulas - the L-Ascorbic acid will deactivate the delivery vehicle in the copper peptide. Use in the morning and use the Neova Copper peptide formulations at night - or alternate them every other day. |

Thank you so much. I had the information backwards. If you go back to several of the long CP threads you will see many of us were misinformed. I will be very careful to read ingredients before I use any product with CP's.
For convenience I think I will just bring my JB On The Go travel pack to CA next week and leave all CP's home. |
