For that skin has deflated (lost its firm plumpness), is there any product to re-plump, I recently ordered Valmont ICCT treatment, is there anything else I can use on a regular basis? My face is already very tight and "refined". Does anyone have any recs for me. |

The first thing that comes to mind is hydrate yourself. Drink lots of water. The products that have made a big difference in my skins plumpness "elasticity."
Mineral Prep by Janson Beckett
AlphaDermaCE
Janson Beckett's C&C
Skin Biology's Copper Peptides
Dremu Oil
Microfiber cloths for washing face
Exfoliate well once a week:
*** Body Deli's Blueberry Fusion Polish
*** 30% Pumpkin Peel *Just ordered a lactic peel (50%).
*Ferox by Veld used once a day prior to cosmetics.
As an added bonus I have used Advanced Thera's Baby Quasar for close to a year Right now I am accepting AT's 60 trial on their "Big Boy," Quasar SP...It is absolutely amazing.Don't try these gems unless you are prepared to love them. In saying that, these machines are expensive. My above routine has taken years off my face. I purchased my BQ for pain but quickly found out it plumped up my mature skin that now seems less fragile.
Good luck. |

I second the hydration advice. It might not hurt to look into hyaluronic acid supplements either, or MSM. MSM aids collagen production.
I would suggest a moisturizer with ceramide, like DHC Ceramide Milk or Cream. |

thanks guys, other than the CPs, I will try some of these options. One more question, does the Ferox work instantly only or is it more a long term plumpling treatment? |

I agree that hydration is the key. Internally (water, HA, omega fatty acids) and externally (HA serum, a good moisturizer like emu oil or something else).
I haven't used it but have been interested in Lauren Huttons' Aquapress method - there have been some reviews of it here on EDS. Some say it works but can be messy.

And, at Lauren's site, you can buy just the sponges without all the other products:

Ferox gives me instant plumping. I use it as a makeup base or in the AM without makeup . I did a review on it. Some love it like I, other had no results. If interested I suggest that you ask for a sample when you place an EDS order. |

Winnie, isn't Dremu Oil simply pure emu oil? I have pure emu oil bought from bio-alternatives but haven't used it much since I don't like the smell. If Dremu Oil's the same thing, I don't think I'll like it either. |

Yes, Dremu is pure emu oil. The reason I like it is it is triple refined. The process makes it clear (pure white in cooler weather), much lighter and odor free. It is more expensive then most emu oils. I purchase Dremu as I don't like emu that is yellow in color or has an odor. I find other emu oils too heavy for my skin. Dremu seems to sink right in. My skin is hydrated but seems like I have nothing on it. HTH's |

It will seem like I'm one of their reps but honestly, it ain't true but I'm fully behind any quality LED light system to really improve your skin.
Personally, I use DPL (bought on sale from Nanci at ncnproskincare.com) & couldn't be happier. It takes time to notice a difference but I felt my skin responding with the first use. The sensation was like all those cells were waking up! And it's actually true...the lights activate the cells and with regular use, they renew at a much faster rate, resulting in much healthier, livelier skin.
It's a MUST addition to any skin care routine IMO, especially for maturing or zit prone skin. |
