Hi
Its a bit early to post as I have at least 4-5 months supply of vits, but I want to give MSM a try, as some ladies here who have acne, have experienced good results from taking it.
As its something that's taken internally, I do not want to be buying from any old website! So can you please rec a UK website that sells MSM tablets/capsules...
Thanks!

If you do a search for MSM there are plenty of threads telling you what MSM is.
But from what I've read MSM (Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane) is a sulphur and is good for skin, bones, hair and nail.

I bought some in Boots. I think it was about £5 for 60. Holland and Barrett also sell it. I'm not entirely sure how good/pure the Boots version is. |

Hmm, Boots, I couldnt find any when I last went.
But I found this website---due to signing up for their free cod liver oil capsule samples, they gave out 60 for free a few months ago!--- http://www.healthfoods-uk.com/index.htm
Just wondering if anyone purchased from them before?
Good price and free UK delivery.
Extracted from their website:
" Hellenia uses OptiMSM™ from Cardinal Nutrition, which uses effective distillation techniques to ensure maximum purity. Beware of cheaper alternatives as they may not be as pure. OptiMSM™ is made in the USA at a dedicated factory by experts with more than 18 years of MSM distillation experience, eliminating cross-contamination and is guaranteed to be free of residual DMSO. It is also the first MSM to be kosher certified."
This sounds good! But of course, they can claim all sorts
Any feedback from thsoe who have used this webstore???

https://www.yourhealthfoodstore.co.uk/
The service was ok. Plus it offers free delivery on an order over £4.95 (which i really like). I received my goodies 2-3 days after I placed order(given that there's no royal mail strike!!).

So...I purchased 120 MSM from
http://www.healthfoods-uk.com/index.htm
I purchased from them due to receiving their free cod liver oil and it seemed ok so I thought I'll give them a try.
Prompt delivery but the CS wasnt really up to my standards. I received no email notification of depatch times, the packaging (envelope) was very poor, it looked like it was used and opened, but the products inside were sealed. I emailed them yesterday and still received no reply...but I guess it was Sunday yesterday so I will give them anther day before emailing them again.
However, I will not re-purchase from them again and try lillilulu's recommended website, as the MSM doesnt contain fillers and the ones I have do...was too blinded by the free cod liver oil before! |
