So, I'm awful at painting my toenails and I get them done once a month or so. I file the nails down in the interim to kinda keep the shape. However, the edge ends up looking untidy with bits of white flecks showing. And the edge looks blunt and white. I've tried filing those down with a finer grade file but to no avail. What do you ladies do? Am I the only one who has this issue? |

The best tip I can give you to make a Pedi last is to use OPI top coat once a week. I also find that OPI nail polish is the best polish I have ever used. |

I like Essie nail polish first, OPI second. And for a topcoat I have used Qtica extending top coat for years. It's nice!!!! Really extends the pedicure or manicure. |

But what do you do about the edge of the nail looking blunt if you file it? The color fading is not really my issue. |

You could make sure you have a bottle of the color you have on your toes. My gf uses OPI Cajun Shrimp - adores it and bought a bottle to keep for touchups in between her pedicures. I think even with top coat, etc.. by filing you will have the white showing at the end.

OPI Cajun Shrimp - looks like a great wearable color from all I've seen. |
