Well now I'm skint (school holidays, natch!) and slowly running out of product I have decided to compile a wish list for when my next student grant comes in.
I want:
Dr H rose cream
Dr H rejuvinating mask
Epidermx (no more chem peels, thank you )
SkinC 20% C serum (it's nearly gone and whilst I'll use the cellular skin stuff in the mean time, I love it!)
A copper peptide serum Any recs?
something to replace Stri Vectin. It's nearly finished and whilst I like the effect it smells like toothpaste and looks like something a proctologist would use
Issima midnight secret
Geurlain mascara
ANY guerlain make-up in fact
a new eye cream, one that will zap my dark circles (using eyebright for last month but not binned the touche eclat yet)
A body lotion that will get rid of chicken skin and give me the body of a 20 year old
Any recs accepted and let us know what you want |

You could try boots time delay cleansing balm or the tesco version ( it has had rave reviews on handbag) till you can buy the eve lom
also is the epiderix same as epidermx? are we spelling it correctly |

Guapagirl,
Just remember that copper peptides shouldn't be used with C serums. You are supposed to use at least 12 hours apart. However, since C can last up to 72 hours in your skin, I would be hesitant to use the CP's. Supposedly, CP plus C equals PRO-oxidant reaction. Eeek! You might want to do a bit of research on this.
I want to try the Epidermx, too. |

No products that I am lemming for right now, but I would love to have:
1. Obagi Blue Peel
2. Blepharoplasty
However, these procedures take time to heal and I couldn't take that much time off work. Well I guess I could go right back to work after the peel, but everyone would make fun of me for looking like a smurfette. I understand the blue sometimes stains the face for a couple of days.

I'm scared to post about this because it will mean that I will have to dig up my list and this will remind me about the products I wanted that I have somehow managed to forget about
Very recently though:
Pevonia Botanica Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser
Jan Marini Bioglycolic BioClear Lotion
Dr Hauschka mud mask
Eminence Organics Herbal Mud Mask (I want to try this at least)
that Lush henna stuff that Eve posted about
Sothys Hydroptimale gel (this is a long-time entry)

I had heard this and was somewhat worried about the agiriline being a copper peptide too, but I've been too lazy to research it maybe I'll buzz Judy cos she seems well up on this stuff |

well, i have avoided posting here because i didn't want to scare myself about how many new products i need. however, on sitting down to think about my needs, i realise that actually, since moving totally to the dr hauschka stuff, i'm pretty happy with what i'm using *shock, horror, can it be!* probably for the first time in my life i feel like i actually have good skin!
however, on reflection, although i am so stoked with dr h, i wouldn't mind a few decleor products - a large essential balm so that i won't run out in a rush, a bit ylang ylang balm for the same reason, and some of the other specialist products...
okay, so i do need stuff, i was fooling myself that i was satisfied with just one range, aha well, back to the decleor site to see what else i can drool over...

Heavens I hope that quoting stuff works right. I still haven't gotten the technique down when there is a quote within a message that I quote, but hopefully you'll be able to see that I'm quoting Guapagirl's comments about not researching the question about copper peptides and Vit. C.
Interesting, the same question occurred to me when I read that previous post by Betterat40.
I'm definitely no authority on this subject, but I do know that Arigireline is acetyl hexapeptide-3 and that is a different peptide from copper peptides. I would assume that copper is the main thing in copper peptides and I do know that acetyl hexapeptide-3 is amino acids.
Now, I did find a quote from Dr. Perricone's site about the interaction of the Vit. C and copper peptides that is very informative. He's talking about his own Ester C product, but the same would apply to the AlphaDerma.
Remember our previous discussion about the difference between L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and ascorbyl palmitate (Ester C)? The L-ascorbic acid form of Vit. C and copper peptides would deactivate each other, but that's not the form of Vit. C in AlphaDerma. It's the Ester C or ascorbyl palmitate. So, there should be no problem... if the peptide in AlphaDerma were copper, but it's not, so even if the C was L-ascorbic acid, it still wouldn't matter. I can't believe I'm making this so confusing. No reaction between Ester C and Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3). Perricone's quote says it much better.
Question: Will the use of Copper peptide and Vitamin C interact with one another?
Answer: Typically the use of` Copper peptide Complex skin cream and Vitamin C
may deactivate the effectiveness of one another. That is not the case
with Dr. Perricone's Vitamin C Ester because it is not the common
typical form of L ascorbic acid. His products contain ascorbyl
palmitate, which has a neutral pH level and will not cause the
irritating interaction most L ascorbic acid products cause.
The reason this gets confused is some articles don't identify which type of Vitamin C they are talking about and just make a general statement that confuses the issue.
