I have the same problem. I tried PSF HA serum. It's quite good but still not the one I'm looking for this coming winter. |

Right now I'm mixing the PSF serum with Suki Blue Chamomile serum for day (as I break out) and PSF HA serum and Suki Carrot facial Serum at night. |

Ok, BB try Elizabeth Grant am and pm serums. These are very good for the dryness you experience. |

I have dry skin and like Leaf & Rusher's Active Serum which has C & Retinol in it. I've been able to get it for much less than retail on Ebay. I do moisturize on top of it without having any "balling up" problems that I have had with other serums.
The Leaf & Rusher Active Serum does have "cones" in it but I find that it spreads well and I haven't had any problem with clogged pores, etc. Oh, I should say that I had a little bit of outbreak when first starting it -- which is a normal adjustment (IMO) to adding these actives to my regime.

Active Serum - $115 retail
This is our signature product, formulated to dramatically improve the skin's texture. Active Serum contains a unique new system for the delivery of Retinol combined with Vitamin C to the skin.
The Leaf & Rusher Active Serum is our signature product specially formulated to dramatically improve the skin's tone, texture and firmness. A light, velvety serum, it contains stable of Vitamin A (a retinol) and Vitamin C, both of which become active when they contact the moisture and enzymes in the skin.
Retinol is a gentler version of the prescription drug Tretinoin, the most powerful, but potentially irritating treatment for aging skin. By perfecting the delivery of retinol to the skin, we have developed an incredibly potent but gentle force for diminishing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discolorations. This process encourages the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, and helps to correct and prevent further deterioration of the skin.
Active Serum provides the proper pH balance, in an advanced formula designed to eliminate irritation and discomfort often associated with true skin repair. This formula can be used for all areas of the face, neck and chest, visibly reducing lines and discoloration, encouraging firmer skin.
Unique Features & Benefits:
- Vitamin A, a powerful retinol agent, reacts with your skin's own moisture to slowly release the anti-aging treatment into the cells
- Lightens discoloration and improves skin's clarity
- Protects from environmental free radical damage
- Visibly reduces signs of aging skin
- Stimulates your own collagen and elastin, the essential framework for firm, resilient skin
- Provides the perfect base for make-up application
Instructions For Use:
First week: apply every other night; Second week: apply every night; Third week: may increase to twice a day as tolerated. Tx Formula may be applied once Active Serum has penetrated.
Active Serum
cyclopentasiloxane (and) diemthicone/vinyl dimethiconecrosspolymer, isodoecane, dimethicone, tetraheyxildecyol ascorbate, retinoxytrimethylsilane and bisabolol |
They also sell a Sensitive Skin version of the Active Serum which has about 1/2 the actives.
I thinkwww.skinstore.com andwww.amazon.com have some customer reviews there as well.
I wish EDS would carry Leaf & Rusher products |
