What is the difference between the two and which is better? What rays do they block? Is it better to have a sunblock with both? Is there any other ingredient that is a physical block? |

There is a chart posted by hellenzqq that really shows why both ZO and TD cover the UVA/UVB rays when used together. I don't know of another physical/mineral sunblock? As far as the difference they are two different minerals, unless you want an encyclopedia definition of each? I am know wikipedia would give the properties of each.

I always thought both are physical sunscreen ingredients, and both will block both A and B. |

Zinc Oxide is much better. Titanium Dioxide mostly blocks UVB, but Zinc Oxide blocks both UVB and UVA. In addition, zinc oxide is good for your skin, it has calming, ante bacterial, anti inflammatory and skin healing properties. It's very good for acne. |

They do, I like to have the combination of both in a physical sunscreen but that's me. |
