Has anyone tried the Curves Leg Toning Sandals or Sneakers? It looks like they're trying to mimic the curve, etc., of MBT's, but at a MUCH more affordable price.

Just wondering how the two might compare in wearability...

Lemming for a pair of MBT's... Rolling Eyes

Once you enter the Avon home page, click on the Avon Wellness link (located in a list on the left), and then click the Curves link under "Brands". This will direct you to the page with the MBT-like sandals and running shoes.

I copied the link directly from the site about the sneakers - not sure why it doesn't take you there directly. Sorry about that!

Anyone tried them yet?

I have the Curves Sandals. I purchased them from Avon because I did not want to shell out all the money for the MBTs. I think they are very wearbale but not as effective as the MBTs.

I would wear them running errands but would not depend on them to tone anything. I went walking around the park in mine and after about 5 days of walking, I could see some tear on them.

The MBTs have a stabilizing core on the inside that simulates walking in the sand or some unstable surface. The curves sandal only has the curve on the bottom. That core is what really works the muscles and forces you to strengthen your core. The sandal has helped to keep my calves stretched and warm but I dont think they work the butt or the thighs.

Hope this info helps.
