Has anyone tried using Preparation H under their eyes? I have read numerous times in many magazines that it can be used to eliminate undereye bags and puffiness. Does it work immediately? I assume you would just use a small amount under the eyes in the a.m. under makeup? Or use it at night to prevent a.m. puffiness? Just wondering! Thanks! |

I know that people use this for a temporary fix. I would be very careful! I tried it on my puffy under eye area once. The area got very dry and irritated. |

I have good news and bad news about prearation H and eye puffiness. First, the good news - it really does work. Utterly, totally, and completely. The bad news is that it is terrible for your eyes! Not only can it be irritating, but it is a petroleum based product, and you should never use a petroleum by-product on the eye area. (I am against it for all skin, but especially eyes).
Invest in a good eye creme instead! But if you are going to go ahead and try it (like most of us here, even if we won't admit it!) , make sure you use the unscented cremenot the original preparation H. The original has menthol in it that will be like rubbing BenGay under your eyes! Ouch! |
