I only just saw this product today so I think it must be very new. I have not been tempted with new products of recent times but this one is very tempting as Valmont do a lot of research and any new products they bring out should be excellent. I would have ordered it instantly except for the price. So I am currently considering it and probably will purchase. |

I read an article about this product last week. Valmont said that they only make 5000 bottles a year and each bottle has it's own unique number... |

Years and years of research added to the blend of ingredients I would imagine. I know many people just look at some of the ingredients and think the product should not cost so much but I think it goes beyond just a few ingredients and includes the research done on the correct mix, testing and results. |

In regards to results on this high end product, are there before/after pictures from this company? |

I don't even see this product on their web site. There are 3 products in their Elixir family: one facial cream, one eye cream, one body cream. And there is no serum. |

Do you ladies know what age group it targets ? Perhaps it's those ladies in a certain age bracket who can afford it that need to use it. |

I am currently using a 5ml sample of this product, just around eyes. The texture is quite light and sinks into skin very fast. However, I always have this tingling feel when I apply it, although it will completely gone w/i 30 seconds. I have been using it for c. 2 weeks, but I haven't noticed any significant changes |

I just couldn't resist and ordered the full size which I now have. I have only tried it just once to find out what the texture was like and it is like a light cream serum, not a clear gel. It sinks in very fast and skin feels good. I have some other products which I am just finishing up the containers so I will use them up first over the next few days and then start the L Elixir serum morning and night. I will use up the full container before I post a review. |

Bushy
I would not have the guts any more on spending so much for skin care especially when i bought a creme de la mer 500g jar last year....that cost me an arm and a leg....
Mind you........i was looking at an Elemis serum recently which cost £90 for 30mls...
why not spend the money on botox - at least that would have a lasting effect.

hi, bushy,
I am forever in the look out for the ultimate "lifting" product. Anything which carries the description "lifing" catch my eyes. But, I was like forever disappointed with the result. Never there is a product that I have bought based on its description is true to its words.
Please post your reviews on this expensive one. Wish you luck on this. |

We are all different and Botox is not forever either, it has to be redone quite often. Plus there is no way I could willingly have a poison injected into my skin. Part of the reason I use some of the products that I do is just for the sheer pleasure of applying a lovely product. I have no grand expectations for results but the products make me feel good and I believe that is reflected in my skin. |
