As I was putting on my night time moisturizer I stood there wondering is there really is a difference between the two. As I read the ingredients on both the bottles they pretty much have the same ingredients. So I started thinking why do we spend extra money on a bottle that just says night time?
Do you think that there is a difference between the two, and why? Out of curiosity which products are you using? |

I think the day moisturizer is lighter than the night one, as most of us wear make up.
Basically, the ingredients are quite similar.
I read an article from a doctor : there is no rule saying that you have to use different cream for eye and face, so and so......
It seemed that the product diversification is a way to make you spend more money! |

i agree with chorally about spending more.
Sometimes i just use my day moisturizer at night as well. Although some day moisturizer has sun protection as well, so i dont think youd wana use that one at night? lol well m curious now can those be used at night or not? |

I agree that the day time moisturizers seem a bit lighter (and may also contain an SPF) and the night ones are a bit richer. |

I agree. The day is usually lighter with an spf and the night is richer, more emollient. |
