Dear Fellow Skin Care Fanatics,

After just 2 days of reading this forum, not only I but my BOYFRIEND has been inspired and went out on the spur yesterday to my local salon to not only start a brand new course of MDF's glycolic peels but also purchased MDF's Facial Clenser (12% glycolic) and the Corrector/Toner (12% glycolic) which I can't remember the name at the moment.

Him and I have acne-prone skin, enlarged pores, oily skin types and basically blemishes everywhere. We both have been on Roaccutane in the past.

Basically, we've both just started a course of MDF's glycolic peels, going weekly for the next 5 weeks and using their clenser and corrector/toner.

Will definately let this forum know the results as this little experiment has just cost him a whopping A$500!!!

Hi Celine13,

I hope the glycolic peels and MDF products work for you. I had the course done a couple of years ago and then I went for monthly maintenance facials for a while and it really improved my skin. I don't get the facials done now as it got rather expensive, but also because my skin had improved so much and it is fine now with just using the MDF products.
Please keep us informed and let us know how you both get on.

I found MDF products very effective in terms of clearing up pimples and little bumps under the skin. I hope your new regime works for you! Keep us posted please Cool

I've also had a series of MD Formulations glycolic peels, as well as facials, and I found them really effective.

Whereabouts in Australia are you? I'm in Perth.

So far, on Day 5 already I see a marked improvement. I don't know if it's my skin just behaving well for now, but I'm noticing little pimples and blackheads are popping up now and I attribute them to the new MD products clearing up my skin.

I'm still using my Isotretinoin gel at night and washing alternatively with my Sheseido facial wash. Let's see how this goes Smile
