Hi.
Can anyone recommend a really good waterproof facial sunscreen?
The only one I've tried that doesn't seem to come off is the Dr. Hauschka one, but it only has Titanium Dioxide in it.
I would rather it be non chemical.
I don't mind looking like a ghost.
TIA! |

Not sure if they sell it in N. America,
but I think Shiseido's Anessa SPF50+ (Gold) meets all your requirement. It's extremely water resistant, which means you need a make-up remover to wash it off |

Thanks Rebecca!
I'll look into it. I don't think they sell it here either... |

Skinceuticals probably ranks higher up on the of sunscreens ladder to me (but unfortunately not sold here on EDS anymore) because of restrictions. If you can get your hands on the Sport UV Defense SPF 45, it's a great sunscreen for heavy duty activities like hiking and surfing. It's sweatproof and waterproof and has very high protection.
The other great drugstore find for me was Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF Very High SPF30+. It smells great, won't let your skin parch up as it's also so moisturising, and if you're spending a lot of time in the water as much as I do in the summer, it's great value(200ml bottle compared to 90ml tube of Skinceuticals).
I do a lot of snorkelling, haven't gotten round to surfing just yet. |
