If your skin is dry, use the cream. If your skin is oily, use the gel. If your skin is normal, you can use either.

thanks bushy! I'm leaning towards the gel cleanser. My skin is quite fragile and prone to broken capillaries. Is the gel cleanser gentle enough?

I have oilier type skin so I find the gel excellent. The gel is not drying so I don't believe it would cause you any problems and it is very gentle. There are no harsh ingredients so I think it would still be fine on your skin.

I love both the cleansers. I use the gel in the morning and the cream in the evening.

I am using the gel in the summer, and the cream in the winter. The gel is a little harder than the cream. But I think if it is not the heating in winter, the gel is still good for me. I have combination skin.
