Don't be afraid dear, You are right! Its a big no for male to use female hormons.

Birth control pill (BCP) can also be used to combat acne, it contains female hormons (oestrogen and/or progesteron) with regulate the testosteron (male hormone). Both male and female have all 3 hormons in their body but the levels/concentrations are different in male and female. So women have oestogen and progesteron in higher level than male and at lower level testosteron. By the way, there are also BCP availiable for men but I dont know much about them, last I heard was that they were in trial fase.

If you will start using female pill then your male hormone level will reduce and you will be feeling different. You may even get female body features. Its not a good idea unless you have such intentions...

May I ask what products do you use for your acne?

Be Patient Smile
It takes time to improve the skin so use it till a few weeks and then review.
Do not expect miracles by only slapping some cream and stuff on your face. You also have to maintane the body in a healthy way; try not to stress, try to drink 1,5 to 2 liter water per day etc.

Good Luck

Hormone pills distract the hormones already in our body. Some gets good results and started to notice acne clearing up, others started breaking out! Individuals have varying skin chemistry. I guess tis just the same with THE PILL as in the birth control Pill. Some dermatologists reported having patients whose skin clears up with its use. Well side effects varies, a friend of mine used pills and she got hyperpigmentations.
