Please feel free to share any conclusions/exeriences which you think would be useful to anyone considering starting the system.

Hi Catski,

I was just browsing to see if there were any new posts on this forum. I have to tell you my experience. I've been using the system since February. By contrast, I've used regular wax-based lipsticks for about 25 years. My lips have finally begun to peel regularly and Oh My God ~ I cannot believe the results! My lips are fuller than ever. Not exploding full yet, but I have to say - they look so damn good. I especially noticed this after a brief peeling session where my the outer portion of my lips closer to my facial skin peeled instead of the inside portion. My most recent observations: My upper lip looks so cool when I smile. Hard to explain, but it stays fuller and curves upward even with a smile. The vermillion border is so well defined. The color of my lips is so nice and pink and staying that way all day, not just after using the heat. The upper lip in particular is filling out (bottom was okay prior to starting the system, but it's fuller too.) But priot to L2K, my upper lip had that crinkly deflated balloon look and now it's filled out! Awesome! Also, the lines on my lip surface are almost non-existent. My lips look almost as good as my 10-year old sons! The lines above my lips are becoming more and more diminished as times passes. NOW is that a tesimonial or what!!! I am so, so excited. NOT to mention that her ULLE and LE have made my face more taut and toned and the lines around my eyes more diminished too. I don't know what else to say, but right now Kandis could now sell ME the Brooklyn Bridge. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff! If you haven't tried it or need a pick me up -- there's my testimonial!! Take care all you L2Kr's Aprile

I've been using L2K since the end of November. I can't imagine not using it. My upper lip is more defined, I think my lower is still rejuvenating but they look great. Like Aprile says, the color is incredible, healthy. I love this stuff. Occasionally, special occasions I've used other lipsticks but my lips feel and look the best with the system lip glosses and colors.

I'm entering my third month of faithful L2K use. Yes it works! I peel still (have been for over a month) - at first one area of my lips and then another area and then another. The peeling is supposed to be a good thing. Some days after I exfoliate my lips are amazing. They are overall softer and fuller - especially my top lip. These results are apparent everyday - I'm loving my lips.

The color is looking better at times also. It seems amazing to me that they are going to continue to improve - like I read on this forum!
I'm committed and believe in this product.

I am wondering if this product works for people under 25 years old... So if someone is younger than 25 and has been using the product think it would be interesting to specifically say so...

I've never tried this system before, but heard loads about it on the forum. I thought it was only for lips. Are you using it around your eyes as well? I'm desperately looking for something to help with the lines around my eyes and would be very interested in how you've achieved the improvement, please. (I've tried so many things without success.)

Hey Catski,

I already shared my review praising Lips2Kiss products. However, I am just curious about the validity of this poll. Is the moderator only going to let those who have shared their review of the product vote? When you come to think about it -- wouldn't it be quite true that anyone could vote on this poll? That would mean that others who might have an agenda could vote negatively and effect the validity of this poll. Also, those who didn't stick it out (Rome wasn't built in a day) would also vote negatively. This could perhaps persuade others NOT to try the system for no good reason. Also, have you yourself ever actually tried the L2K System? I noticed your name asking questions back on some early posts, like back in 2006. However, I don't believe I've ever seen you post your progress. Although I don't post often, I am a true believer in this system. When I see someone asking certain questions, I will share my experience. This system is in fact, the only thing I've ever tried that works! I am convinced that unfortunately, some people are influenced by polls regardless of their validity. So this poll just doesn't sit right with me. What exactly are your motives here? I don't want to come across acusatory, but it seems to me this could negatively impact Kandis' new business. And that's just plain unfair. Aprile

aprile. It didnt ocurr to me that this poll could be used negatively Crying or Very sad

Really, if that's the case, I think we could ask for it to be deleted.

My motives are that autumn is here and I'm hunkering down and could consider taking on the commitment of attending to my lips, if it turns out it really was worth it.

The original thread is soooo long, I was hoping for a concise feedback/report here, for me and anyone who is interested.

I'm not sure what to do. Should I ask for it to be deleted, or change it to NOT include the poll?

What do you all think?

Hey Catski:

I think unless there is a sure proof way to monitor who responds to the poll, (ie only those who truly tried the system and gave it a good six months get to vote), we really can't validate the answers. Sometimes too when people see a poll like this with a low percentage of people saying they liked the product, they think "oh I better not try this." When in fact, they could be losing out on something truly special! I truly believe Catski, that those who hesitate, will lose out. If you are seeking to reduce or eliminate lines above or on your lip surface, there's NOTHING I repeat NOTHING on the market that will do this except for this product. Sure, I wanted fuller lips, but that wasn't why I decided to take the plunge. I had been contemplating using Restylane (OUCH + $$$!), to eliminate the lines above my lips. I HATE LINES ABOVE THE LIPS!! No doubt about it -- they make you look older! So... in only six months time, I have seen them go from super noticeable to barely there. I couldn't BE more thrilled. An added side bonus was of course, my lips filled out, became more plump, they got their natural rosy color back and the vermillion border became more defined. Now, will I need to continue to use the products to maintain my results? Of course! If you stop using anything that changes your skin, lips, nails, teeth, body, etc., you will begin to return to your prior state of being. That being said though, the amount of product needed to maintain your new look, will diminish over time. In addition, everyone is different; we all live in different climates. Warm, humid climates will probably require less product and maybe even less time on the system to begin seeing some awesome results. I don't know about you, but I'd sign up for a system that requires maintenance (as all things that work do), than having cosmetic procedures done any day of the week! Take care, Aprile Very Happy

I see no reason to delete the thread. It's about opinions. Let people post their opinions -- positive or negative.

That's what these threads are for. I don't believe I have ever seen an opinion on this forum (and I've surfed here for many years) that made me think: "I wonder if she REALLY tried it"?

Good grief. Let people talk.

I have not used L2K. It sounds like too much trouble, my lips are full enough for me, and I didn't care for Candy's attitude early in the other thread. There. That opinion is well-considered and valid -- and I haven't used the system.

Catski,
I think most people recognized that your motives were innocent. Aprile had some valid concerns and I'd probably be slightly more comfortable if we could see who was who but there are issues with that as well so I say leave it as is. There were some rather ugly accusations tossed around by some people who didn't use the product and had no plans to but I think the motivations became very apparent later as to the whys. It's a good product and it does deliver for most who use it. Like anything it requires some commitment but isn't that the case with almost anything? I can't expect to go to bed every night and not wash my face and expect my skin to look good nor can I expect to not put effort into my exercise and expect my body to look nice. It is what it is. Siddha, that's too bad you feel the way you do as Kandis, not Candy, makes a nice product and she's a dream to do business with. Your entitled to your opinion of course, but as someone whose not used the product, I don't find your opinion a valid one.

I hope this thread doesn't get deleted--- frankly I'm very interested to see the results of the poll. To answer the question about age, I'm 26 (although I was 25 when I started this system^-^), and I've been using this system faithfully for 3 full months now. My lips were in really awful shape when I started and so they've been peeling basically non-stop since I started using this system. Honestly, some days my lips are so flaky and uncomfortable that I rue the day I ever started this system, however, over the course of the past few months I have seen the amount of peeling slowly decrease, so I still believe there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. On the days when I'm not peeling my lips are very full and pretty, and I love the fact that the products actually nourish the lips instead of suffocating them---- I definitely hope to stay with this system indefinitely!

If anyone is considering starting but is worried about not being able to wear thier favorite lip glosses and lip sticks, I highly recommend getting one of the colored glazes for the penetrale lip colors: (Let's see if this link works....)
http://www.lips2kiss.com/L2K/Lips2Kiss/shopping%20cart/english/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=3&idproduct=62

These are made to go with the penetrable lip colors (which are kind of like stains), HOWEVER, I have found that I like them better than the colored Night Glazes and I wear mine on its own every day. I have an * spam alert * to peachy nude lip glosses and was a little sad to give them all up, however, now that I have the Penetrable Lip Color Glaze in Tuscan Sun (the PERFECT peachy nude), I don't miss my old glosses at all. HTH! And keep the responses coming, ladies--- positive, negative, or neutral, I'm interested to read them!

There is no reason to delete this thread. EDS has polls all the time. Polls can be anonymous. There are those who would not participate in such if they had to put their user name.

I agree, catski, the Lip2Kiss thread is very long and hard to read through.

aprile, there is no way to monitor who responds to a poll. IMO there is no need to have this information. Lip2Kiss has been reviewed on EDS for a long time. Many love it and some don't care for it. That is just the way it is with skin care and cosmetics.

Both positive and negative reviews are welcome on EDS. Smile

Hi Sidda,

I'm all for people voicing their opinions. That is what this forum is all about! But just consider this was your business. You put all your sweat and equity into this business. Now realize that others on these boards not only purchase products, but some also sell products. It just seems unfair to me, not to mention a disservice to women who would possibly consider trying this product to rejuvenate their lips. Now, you don't need fullness, but others might be looking at this product for that and other reasons I mentioned ... like ridding themselves of the lines on and above their lips. I am telling you the universe presented me with what I needed via a web search and these boards. I didn't want to go the surgical route to get rid of these pesky, unattractive lines on and above my lips. That's just not for me. All women should be able to make a choice based on valid polls, whereby the voters have actually tried the products. Unfortunately, some people, not Catski (sorry!) get their jollies sabotaging others businesses. To get back to my main point Sidda -- it's gotta make me wonder WHY on earth you would tap into this thread. Since it is a POLL and since the system sounds like just too much trouble for you to try. Are you getting my point? Aprile

I have been using the L2K system for almost 6 months now. I am very pleased by my results. I have had good lip plumping and my natural lip color looks much nicer. I also have had some improvement in the definition of my lip line. I have had some improvement in the vertical lines above my upper lip, especially in the depth of the lines. In my opinion you use very little of the products. I have only repurchased 1 time since starting. You spend 90 seconds in the evening applying the heat to your lips, so not at all time consuming. It seems really confusing to read about it, and it looks at first glance like it would be a royal pain in the rump, but it is extremely easy. If you apply lip balm throughout the day now, you just replace that with your L2K product, so no big change there. So, for me, I am happy I use the products.

I've been using L2K for approx. 4 months and have had amazing results. My lips are much fuller, less lined and the vermillion is more defined. The real test of its effectiveness has been during the past 2 weeks when I was on vacation. I wasn't able to use it as regularly as when I'm at home, nor was I able to blow-dry them each night. I'm delighted to say that they haven't suffered at all due to my 'neglect' and have maintained their fullness.
I'm totally comitted to using this system as its the only one that has given me visible results.

oh crumbs! Shock

Firstly.. thankyou to all of you have chimed in and given nice concise reviews of how you have found Lips2Kiss, after a period of having used it. That's what I wanted to know! Especially the fact that it isnt such a 'right royal pain in the rump' as it might at first appear and that when you are away from home and cant do the full monty, you dont lose the benefits you have built up. And that there are good colours available... as I'm a total lip colour adict!

That's really good news.

I do understand completely what aprile means.
Having been away from the forum for a while, I'd put out of my mind the saboteur element of those here that are mainly interested in promoting their own or their friends products. In fact I think I assumed they'd gone. Wishful thinking on my part, I suppose.

I did ask for this thread to be deleted, but I failed to provide CaspersMum with a link, which is why it is still here.

Some members want the thread to remain, so I will leave it for now.

If, however, it turns into something less than straightforward, I will ask for it to be removed.

Maybe we should stick to reading the responses and ignore the poll part, lest anonymous voting is used dishonestly.

It's a shame we even have to think along such lines, but there you go. Wink

Hi Majorb,

The Spa Lipcare System is intended for the lips. However, there are two other products available for the face. One is the ULLE (upper lip line eliminator), which was intended for the lines above the lips, but can be used around the eyes and on your entire face. Then there's the LE (line eliminator), which not only helps in erasing fine lines and wrinkles (especially good for the crinkly thinner skin like around the eyes, neck and top of the hands. I feel it has a tremendous lifting effect as well. I for one, cannot say enough good things about these products. ALL of them work with the assistance of heat, albeit a little bit for the face, neck and hands. Somehow the heat really seems to activate the products. Kandis is a peach of a customer service person. I have never dealt with anyone who would answer countless questions and offer you support while you are trying to rejuvenate your lips and skin. I've also spent lots of $$$ on products that don't work or live up to their promises even after months of use. BUT, this system and all of her products truly deliver! Best wishes, Aprile Very Happy

That's very helpful, thank you, Aprile. Do you personally use both of these products together around your eyes. If not, which do you prefer for the area around the eyes?

Hi Marjob,

I use both because each one performs a different task if you will. I can't remember which, but one builds collagen and other activities, and the other performs other activities such as lifting. I akin this to taking vitamins ... you can't get it all in one product, so you need to use more than one. I don't know about you, but over 40 we seem to need both! Contact Kandis off her website, she will be more than willing to share that info with you. Good luck, Aprile

Hi Catski,

I think the poll is good. I am confident that most EDS members are honest and want to share their true results with others. Very Happy No sweat! Anyway, I have started on L2K since 6/24/07. I have had no excessive peeling for two reasons. I was not a Chapstick girl. I was allergic to everything waxy, so I could only use Vaseline lip balm. I was not even using it more than once a day, and sometimes completely forgot to use it at all. I heard that people on Chapstick had a lot of peeling. I had a very minor peeling in the very first month. The second reason is I was not religious about using L2K either. I would use it at least once a day, but I was not applying the NG every 20 mins. It was more like every 1-5 hours. This is ok for me because I was not looking for explosive lips (my lips are too big already). I just wanted softer lips and reduced lines on the lips (not around my lips since I don't have any). So far, this frequency seems to work out well for me. My lips are pretty soft, and I'm not allergic to the system. That's pretty much what I was after. Anyway my results are probably not the typical ones that most girls here are looking for. Very Happy But I just wanted to chime in to let people know that even if you're forgetful about applying the NG every 20-30 mins, you will still good results, especially if you're not looking for huge lips.

I have been using the line for about 8 months now I think.

I never had lip lines, just dry lips, that were uncomfortable, and not as plump and soft as I wished, Plumpers have never worked for me, and dryed and irritated my lips.

I like the L2K system, and have noticed that I now have much fuller softer plumper lips. Originally I used the glaze every 20-30 minutes, and applied the other treatment product after breakfast, lunch and dinner. (use heat once in the AM or PM) Thats easy and worked fine.

Now I still use the productine, but can apply less often to maintain my look.

I personally love the colored Night Glazes, and use them in the Vivid/Richer extra intense color daily for my lip color products. I still occasionally use my other brands of glosses, but not often.

For me it is worth it.

I use the ULLE and LE on lips now also (been doing that for about three months) and that has increased my plumpness, and softness.
