Can someone make a good recommendation? I'm currently looking into MUFE and Bobbi Brown |

I really like Masquerade makeup, it's used for stage productions and the whole line is fabulous, can definitely recommend the concealer for full coverage, especially the concealer wheel. |

I've heard of that, but it's a bit beyond my price range.
I was thinking of MUFE or Bobbi Brown? Anyone have opinions on those? |

Bobbi Brown is good. I haven't tried the other one, but to be honest ... I'd give Vichy a try. I was using both Bobbi Brown concealer & corrector and BB Luminous Foundation. The Vichy is 10x better for my skin. I still have the Bobbi Brown concealer & corrector, but after I"m finished with it I'm going to try Vichy.
The Vichy Aera Teinte for dry skin has full coverage and my skin looks amazing. I've used Bobbi Brown, Clinique, MAC, Lancome and SmashBox - none of them can touch this and it lasts all day. It is also approximately $20 cheaper. |

Do you know how the Vichy concealer looks on the skin? I have the foundation, and it leaves a bit of a grey undertone which I do not like. |

I don't to be honest. I've seen some good reviews, but I also like the foundation & you find it grey.
Let's go back to Bobbi Brown then! I can pass a opinion on it!
I use the corrector and then concealer. I use very little. I apply it with a Lancome concealer brush. It applies easily and covers quite well. I do find that I will sometimes get lines under my eyes. I don't use the finishing powder they have; my skin is too dry for that. The makeup artist from Bobbi suggested using the tip of my finger and gently pressing to set it. She said that she sometimes does that throughout the day to prevent any lines. You don't have to rub, just press. If your skin is oilier you could use the powder that to set it. |

I found Bobbi Brown melted off - I prefer Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, I find it isn't quite so creamy but still has enough 'slip' to blend nicely and stay put, it is also more buildable than BB in my experience (both personal and professionally). Apply with a brush for best results. |

Bobbi Brown corrector is excellent. They recommend to use concealer over it but I don't. |

I do prefer the Corrector than the Concealer. I have never tried it on it's own. I will do that today!
As far as the product melting off, that isn't something I have ever experienced, but my skin is also very dry. I would imagine that if your skin is oilier it could be an issue. My skin is the other extreme. |

I can only tell you from experience I did try the bobbi brown one and if you have a hint of dry skin forget it......it is very cakey in my opinion... and dry.... if your skin is oily I would say it perhaps will work well for you ... try it before you buy it.... it isn't cheap but it isn't all out crazy in price .... my skin is fairly dry so for me it cracks and makes me look like I have wrinkles........ the most opaque concealer I have ever used was by clinique called continuous coverage... unfortunately they are down to 4 shades and the one that was great on my pale yet olive skin was discontinued several years ago, If one of the 4 shades is compatible for your skin .. that is what I recommend highly ...I myself have been on a quest to find a truly opaque concealer that isn't dry.... what I am currently using is from MUFE... with 4 or 5 colors I believe in the tray.. for like covering red spots and circles, correctors and 2 regular nude shades ... I have to use a good moisturizer and primer before I use it...as it is also on the dry side... coverage is 8 out of 10..... I have heard that Estee Lauder makes a tube type concealer that is supposedly very good.. I just haven't tried it yet but that is my next concealer to test......... I have tried at least 20 the past few years and as far as coverage MUFE has the most coverage so far.... I have bad darkness under my eyes and in the corners so I HAVE to use something OPAQUE as possible.... the touche eclat is very sheer don't waste your time with it if you need something that really covers... Hope I helped with your search...... Tina |
