For those of you with eczema, how do you like this product? My brother is on the chilly East Coast and the eczema he had as a child is sadly resurfacing. I am thinking about purchasing this product if it's helpful. Thanks for any help! |

I used Triceram when I was having a bad bout of contact dermatitis on my face and it worked like a charm. It is VERY thick though, but isn't greasy at all. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. |

I didn't end up buying it for him. He told me he bought Aveeno and it didn't work or impress him. His eczema was BAD at its worst this past winter--cracked, bleeding, terrible. I bought him Aquaphor and he loved it. But Aquaphor is too greasy to use as a hand cream, plus it's not a moisturizer, but a sealant. Anyhow, his eczema is gone now that the weather isn't horridly cold. He just uses any moisturizer on his hands and neck now.
But, I'll definitely try to get a sample of the Osmotics since one of you recommend it. I am always looking for good products for him. |

It helped me a lot when I was going through a bad bout. I wish it was cheaper or reimbursable by insurance, though.
They do have clinical studies to back it up. |

Thick creamy lotions are great for eczema. Try to choose a cream with natural ingredients...no perfumes or dyes....
Proper dieting is also important (adequate intake of water, Omega fish oils, etc)
I would recommend seeing a dermatologist, though for a proper assessment and treatment regime. |
