Hi, I used the Jan Marini C-ESTA Serum OIL CONTROL and C-ESTA Eye Repair Concentrate but would not purchase these products again. They didn't really do anything for my skin and I found that they oxidized quite quickly, turning brown and smelly. In the past I used tons of Jan Marini products from her Bioglycolic line and Papaya Resurfacers line and her sunscreen which was a fav for the longest time. I stopped using the products because I believe I was over doing product usage and I was fed up with the caps of the products! They would stop pumping and I would have to open them to get the products out which I'm sure contaminated them. I wrote to the company and didn't hear a thing. I'm all about customer service so when a company ignores my concerns, I stop using their products.

Joani - I so agree with you about the caps! I'm about to post this as a follow-up to my review because it seems that all three bottles of my JM that had pumps did actually break long before the product was gone.
Re: C-Esta line. I only tried the serum that Joani mentioned (the oil control version) and I wouldn't repurchase. I think it's a safe option for those with very sensitive skin because of the type of vit C used, but I also felt that it wasn't that effective. I didn't have oxidation problems though and in fact I was really surprised by how long this serum (it's more of a lotion really, it's not water-like) kept its colour. I had it for ages because I wasn't really impressed with it so I kept switching to other things. |

I use the C Esta serum (NOT the oily version) and also love it. My skin is oily and this product keeps me shine free. It absorbs quickly and feels really good on my skin.
