Firstly, the packaging of this Yon-Ka product is quite bland. Nothing modern or gimmicky about the product presentation. Certainly not for those who like their products to look 'real purty' on their bathroom shelves. The colour of the gel though is a lovely marine blue. I was actually quite surprised at the consistency of the gel as I was expecting something a bit thicker.
The smell doesn't really do anything for me although I can see why those who like something fresh and invigorating to use in the mornings may like this stuff. It would certainly give you a real wake-up call!
Unfortunately, I have had to stop using this cleanser as it was too drying for my skin. However, I feel this may be down to the fact that it is a gel cleanser. I've only ever tried 1 other gel cleanser (Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel) and that dried my skin too. So, if you like gel cleansers then this may work well for you and your skin. Sadly, not for mine.  |
