Just have to do a quick rave...I picked at a cystic bump yesterday on my cheek...it was so painful and huge I thought it would take the typical week or so to go down. So last night I washed like normal and applied PSF Acne mud mask to the bump....this morning the bump is TOTALLY gone...not one little raised bit of anything. The mark is still there....dark bruised from being picked at but the bump itself and hard cyst is gone.
Totally sold on this mask! Highly recommend! |

I loved this for spot treating too, it really does zap blemishes over night. Great to have on hand for those unexpected "friends" that creep up around your TOTM. |

I ordered a sample specifically to try on my hormonal cystic acne...I also had overnight results! I just dabbed a bit on the spot after cleansing, then continued my routine on the rest of my face/neck, and left the mud on overnight. I'm sure it dried and flaked off whilst I was sleeping, but the end result was great! What would usually turn into an inflamed, painful cyst leaving behind PIH, was just a tiny red spot in the morning, and it was totally gone by the next day. |

I've been waffling on this product for weeks, it's been in and out of my cart many times. Now I think I'll try it from reading these raves. Thanks! |

The way I looked at it, it's only $10.00 so I thought even if it didn't work for me, I wasn't too broken up about it. I've spent $100.00 (crazy, I know), on a sit zapper that didn't work half as good as this. I don't use it as a mask though, just an overnight treatment, so mine will last me a long time. |

I would look at it as an overnight treatment not really a mask...then it is a good value! I so use it on my nose every couple of nights to clean out the blk heads.
I'm placing another PSF order because I love what I have sooooo much! Fantastic products. |

Well done, gals -- you've convinced me to jump on the bandwagon, and I almost NEVER buy masks! (I do sometimes use them as a spot treatment like you're describing, and for $10 how can I resist!?) |

I would just use it as a spot treatment, the jar is quite small (about an ounce I guess), so if you use it as an all-over mask I don't expect you'd get many uses out of it. It's a great overnight zit zapper IMHO |

Yeah, I tend not to do all-over masks anymore. My skin is quite combination and also very sensitive, and all-over masking can really irritate it. But overnight spotting with masks is far more effective than most typical blemish creams, in my experience.
I make a DIY blend with raw wild honey, French green clay, and rosewater, and I find that it does a decent job of zapping zits without drying too much. But I like the idea of a treatment with sulphur too for extra zit-killing oomph! PSF's sounds really similar to what I already do, but more potent. |

This mask seems to get raves from just about everyone who tries it. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, but I was certainly wishing I had some on hand a couple of weeks ago when a ginormous pimple (thanks to hormones) appeared on my neck... I definitely need to try this! |

I had about 6 small clogged pores on my cheeks and i put a small dab of this mask each and went to bed....AGAIN....they are all gone! These are ones that I would typically go to get microdermed....not huge or infected but you can just see them....not anymore! I love this stuff! |

gwyne, did your jar of PSF acne mud mask come with a little plastic seal that sits flush on the rim of the jar? It should have, that helps to keep it from drying out. If so, one way to revive it is to mist the top with a toner or hydrosol [I use Chamomile hydrosol]. Close and your mask should be more moist the next day.
I do love this mask for spot treatment but found the small size not too amenable for weekly or bi-weekly facials. So I learned to make my own version of PSF mud mask, although mine isn't nearly as elegant as the real deal. |

Okay, Olivia, are you sure PSF is not paying you to be their poster child...lol. If they're not they should be;) |

I was just going to say the same thing, I did read somewhere to keep that plastic seal on or it will dry out. I'll have to remember that tip with the toner though, I notice mine starting to dry out just a tad. |

I am loving this product too! It really got into my pores and cleaned them out better than anything else I have tried thus far.
I have not yet used it as a spot treatment, but I did put it on as a mask (just on my chin and nose area as I have an oily t-zone) for around 1 hour and my pores were all clean after
I can see it lasting pretty well too. I would not use it all over my face as it would probably be quite drying - just fr those oily and trouble spots....
Mine came with an applicator and both were in a zip lock bag. Along with keeping the seal and lid on I am going to keep it in the zip lock as added protection against it drying out |

Hi girls, I just got this mask today and this is the first time I tried it. I actually had it on now on a few blemishes and planning to leave it on overnight.
My first impression is this mask has a strong herbal smell. Also, it seems to dry up fast on my fingers when I'm trying to apply it. It seems to be all clumpy when I applied it. Does anyone experience that or is it just me?? |

The herbal smell yes, is strong. You have to make sure to keep that little plastic seal on underneath the cover or it will dry out. After time it dries out a bit but I think somebody suggested you can spritz it with something (can't remember what though), to rehydrate it. Mine is still good as when I first opened it which was back in February I believe. |
