| Is it possible to GET brown spots from a sunblock? I decided to try Clinique City Block 40 SPF and I swear a couple of new brown spots on my hands came up and a couple of old ones got darker. Or am I imagining this? |

| Brown spots are sun damage. Sunscreen does not cause brown spots, but prevents them rather. What you are seeing must be past sun damage, since a SPF 40 would provide you adequate protection. That would be my guess. |
