I'm 54 and my neck is going........ fast!! My mom had a very crepey neck and among other things she had to share that with me. It seems in the last couple of months the crepiness has really accelerated. The more I worry about it the worse it gets. I'm not sure whether it's menopause or what but I seem to be getting very emotional over the aging thing. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple of years ago and I have spent an enormous amount of time on the computer... could the position of my head/neck have played a role in this?
Anyhow... Does Retin-A have any effect on this problem? How about the LED treatments?? Please tell me there's something short of plastic surgery out there
I also have bags under my eyes.. had them all my life. They also seem to be worse... Any suggestions for this?
Suddenly I feel I'm falling apart........ where's the emoticon with the enormous amount of tears at? |

Welcome Whittywoman,
There is a ton of info about LED's.
At the top of this page there is a 'search' feature, just put LED into the search and you will find it. Lots of research
I am so glad you found this forum, everyone here is so supportive. You'll love it !
My opinion- I wouldnt use the Retin A too close to my LED treatment.

Hi Whittywoman,
I was hoping someone who is using Retin A & LED's would see your post.Because as you can see from the search, there is sssoooo much info on the LEDs.
But, it seems that all of the companies have excellent customer service. It couldnt hurt to give a call.
I hope youre loving the forum.

Hey Whittywoman,
I am 53 so we are very close in age. Glad you are here because there are lots of suggestions to give you some help. First what type of skin do you have and what skin products are you using? Many people have problems with their neck, that isn't my area of concern so i can't speak from experience, but it is for a lot of people. My first thoughts are skin brushing, flexeffect facial exercises, and yes LED lights. But first of all making sure you are using the correct skincare for your skin type.I forgot to add a lot of people have had great results with Rentin-A but it isn't an overight success, I think it they say to give it a year. I have ordered some and it it should be here any day. I am sure there are other that can jump in here and tell you about their experiences with Rentin-A. |
