Hi ladies!

I've exclusively been using my Clarisonic for about 3 weeks now (loving it!!) but am a little unsure of how to incorporate my microfoliant into my routine. I'm afraid that it might be too much for my skin but, truth is, I miss it (that and I just bought a new bottle and it's seems so wasteful to have it just sitting there!)

I've been using my Clarisonic once a day (at night) with no issues at all (I do have mild rosacea and it hasn't flared up at all). What would you suggest? Should I give up exfoliation? Is the Clarisonic enough?

I too have mild rosacea and use the Clarisonic at night and in the morning I just wet my face and use a bit of the Microfoliant. I've been doing this for about 6 weeks and it is working beautifully (no flare up, keep your fingers crossed).

CMAYC, when I feel I need to exfoliate I do not use the Clarisonic that day. For my skin type it would be too much and possibly cause irritation.

Thanks! So I guess I'll just use my better judgement.

I'm glad that it's working out for you, suzannek. Have you experienced an increase in breakouts at all? Sometimes over exfoliation can bring that on (not saying that's what you're doing...just curious)

Winnie: it sounds like you have sensitive skin, like me. Do you use your Clarisonic once or twice a day? I've been wondering if I should try to work up to twice a day or just leave things the way they are. Also, which brush head do you use?

I use my Clarisonic twice a day. I love the delicate brush (light blue). Once a week I give myself a Lactic peel. The night before, and day of the peel I give the Clarisonic a rest. Seems to be working well for me.

CMYAC, no I have not experienced any breakouts, but then I rarely do so I am fortunate in that regard. I do have sensitive skin and use the sensitive brush but was wondering what the normal brush would be like. I thought about using the Clarisonic twice a day, but wondered if it might be too much but I also like the idea of using the Microfoliant every day as well. What to do?

Yeah, that's my dilemma too. I would say, if your skin looks good, keep things the way they are. Or eventually work up to the normal brush head once a day. I guess you won't know until you try!

I ordered a delicate brush to try. I must say, the sensitive brush is REALLY soft. It'll be interesting to see how they compare. Maybe, with the delicate brush, I could use it twice a day (on my non-exfoliating days).

I'm trying to incorporate the microfoliant too, somehow... I use it about once a week and I don't use my pretika (clarisonic knock off) the evening before.
