| I'm looking for a good brush to apply MMU with, does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of the JI Dome brush, does anyone have experience with that one? |

| ppl say the Alima #25 brush is good. I tried it myself but I don't really like it cuz it's too dense and hard. |

| I, too, would like a recommendation for a good brush to apply mineral makeup. The new one by Alima (Kitten brush) sounds good, but it would sure be nice if there's a brush I can buy right here at EDS. I've tried the Bare Escentual brushes and they are just OK. |

I have the Alima #25 and its my favourite mineral make-up brush. Tried Bobbi Brown kabuki, UGloGirl flat top and a squirrel hair brush yet like the Alima the best.
The new version of the Alima brush is not as dense as the old one (I have both versions) yet it is still a 'firm' brush. A lot of people like the UGloGirl brush(es) it just didn't work for me! |

| The Lumiere kabuki is inexpensive and really good. It's as dense as the Alima 25 but not quite as firm. I also like the Jane Iredale Handi brush, though it is supposedly designed for pressed mineral makeup. It does work for loose makeup too. |

I agree. I now use EDM brushes, and absolutely love it especially the kabuki brush which gives me an even coverage. Its really soft and doesnt shed at all. Best of all, its very reasonably priced (I think 10-13$). |

All of the Lumiere brushes are out of stock on their website. Is there anywhere else you can buy these brushes online? |

Thank you. I just ordered the EDM Kabuki brush, it's only $10 and they have a coupon code for 10% off on their website, so it was only $9. If it ends up not working out for me at least it is just an inexpensive experiment. |

| I use the brush from Estee Lauder and id Bare mineral and prefer the brush from id bare mineral, its not too hard nor too soft and distribute evenly on your skin. |

I suggest a kabuki or a flat top for mineral makeup foundation.
I have two kabukis from Lumiere. I also have a rather scratchy kabuki from Red Earth that I purchased at SDM for IIRC $38.00 cdn.

I got three at a presale price of $5.99 (plus free foundation samples). This is the same brush at EDM currently selling for $9.00. Sometimes EDM is out of stock. Look for synthetic brushes these are much softer than animal hair.
Someone had mentioned MAC 187. This type of brush would apply a light layer. I like a large fibre optic for finishing powders. If you use mineral blush I suggest a smaller fibre optic brush especially if you are fair.
I also use a taklon concealer brush. You can buy them from MMU suppliers. I also got some nice ones from Sally's beauty supply. I use this for spot concealing. |

| All- time best brush no matter what for the face is the Jane Iredale Handi Brush. It is super. |
