Hi, I was in the local health shop and I saw some Retinol Cream 50,000iu
As usual it didn't have much explaination on the product. Does anyone know what it does and can it be used as a substitute for Retin A. I know Retin A is only available on perscription but heard it was useful for getting rid of sun spots.
Any ideas?? |

yes, it can be used in place of Retin-A. It is another form of vitamin A. Retinol, like other anti-oxidants does help with reversing sun damage, and boosting collagen production, while exfoliating dead surface cells, causing a decrease in fine lines. Just make sure that there are other emollients in the creme, or use a good mositurizer too, as it can be drying on sensitive skin types. |
