As titled. I have a few items that don't work out for me and I can't return or exchange them!! I can't use it cuz it breaks me out not cuz I'm being picky or anything. I usually try my best to finish it even though the product didn't do what it claims to do.
I feel that I'm wasting money on products that don't work for my skin or sometimes making it worse. It's a waste to throw them out cuz they're quite pricey sometimes. Most of these products I only used less than 5x and quite new too!! I tried to sell it out for a much lower price but nobody seems to be getting it I feel broke and sad... This is the thing about online ordering. You never get to try out the product first and there's no refund policy even if you have a reaction to it. So ladies, what do u usually do if that's the case? |

You can go to makeupalley and swap items with other members (it's free).

I use it to apply to my hands, my feet instead of my face. Since they are hard to sell and instead of throwing them away, I use it |

Arysse, I did swap with makeupalley but sometimes it's hard to find something as good to swap with.
mrspiggy, I do that too...apply it to other areas of my body. But unfortunately, mine is a cleanser. |

Ugh-I'm in the same boat as I have half a bottle of Yonka Pure Emulsion! It didn't work for me but, yet I can't seem to throw it out. Wish I had friends that were into facial stuff!
Does anyone know if the EDS facebook group ever start that trading post they were thinking about? The products there would be comparable and we already know the people are friendly...! |

If I see someone posted interest in the product that I have and don't like, I will PM them and offer to give it to them if they want it. |

I usually just give stuff away if I don't like it, but I will have to try that makeupalley. I wasn't aware there was anything out there like that! |

My mom, sister and friends who are always more than happy to sift through my impulse purchases and "no-go" items....I hate to think of how much money I've blown on skincare and make-up gongers - ACK!!

I will see if I can re-purpose an item that I don't like (using hair conditioner to shave my legs, using face sunscreen on my arms, etc.) Otherwise, I list it for swap at Makeupalley.com. |

Anything I don't like goes to my SO, unless it's a totally female product. Needless to say, his skin looks better than mine!
I also started swapping some things on MUA (makeupalley.com). It's really fun and I've gotten some great items that way. It's a good way to get to try out new products without shelling out the money.
Every so often I "binge and purge"--accumulate too much stuff and then just go through it all and throw stuff away that I don't like. It's actually very psychologically rewarding to ruthlessly throw disappointing products in the garbage! Maybe because it "cleanses" me of the burdonsome clutter and gives me "permission" to buy more? |

What a great idea! Does anyone know if you can use human shampoo & conditioner on dogs? |

To be safest, I would ask your vet. The only thing I can think of is that you won't have flea "protection" and/or dogs' skin/coat may be sensitive to some ingredients found in human stuff. |

I sold some Kerastase and Wen products I tried and was allergic to on ebay before. While I didn't get a huge amount of money for them, I didn't have to feel bad throwing them out, and the people who bought them from me got a chance to try the products at a fraction of a price they'd have to pay for these, so it was a win-win situation. For skincare, if I can't use it on my face, I'll try to use it on my legs or arms. If I really can't use it, I'll just have to toss it out or give it to a friend who might want to try it. |

I tried that on my poor puppy, and her hair was so flat and got tangled up. It took me forever to get her tangles out. So no, don't use it on dogs. lol |

I have a friend who's a Chiropractor, and she washes her dog with Wen. She's been using it on him for about six months. |

But I should add that of course it's best to check with your vet! |
