Hello All!
I am a new poster but have been lurking for awhile. I read a lot about hyaluronic acid and would like to know the best strength and best place to purchase some.
If I understand correctly, I can use this acid mixed in with my oil formulation. Am I right?

Hi and welcome! For starters you could try the following:
www.ncnproskincare.com
www.skinactives.com
www.gardenofwisdom.com
You didn't say what oils you intend to mix it with - but I mix a couple of squirts of HA with emu oil in the palm of my hand, then apply in the PM, this works fine for me. |

Hi qt,
Keliu mentioned some good ones, and I like the Personal Formulator
http://www.thepersonalformulator.com/wvss/product_info.php?products_id=1188&osCsid=s8hv9j6nppv7fobeufm23siqm7
They use lab-created sodium hyaluronate salts to make their 1% gel (which is quite thick and can be diluted with distilled water). From what I know lab-created sodium hyaluronate is better absorbed by the skin than hyaluronic made from animal sources.
As with all statements of that kind, I don't want to provoke anyone...that's just my understanding of the subject. I could be wrong, but I've been buying HA from TPF for several years and the quality has always been excellent. |
