I take both - the ascorbyl palmitate I take with food - needs for best absorption. |

I don't think there is a difference. Ester is usually formed between acid and acohol, as VitC is acid, then C-ester should be the correct name. |

vitamin c ester is the generic substance. Ester-C is a trademark or brand name. Dr. Perricone says to use Vitamin C ester. |

Ester C is better as it absorbs and stays in the body longer. |
