For my 42 y/o, very fair, combo skin (VERY oily t-zone)....
MMU - Because it doesn't slide off my face in the humidity!
Clarins UV Plus SPF 40 - Very lightweight for every day usage under MMU.
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 70 - Keeps my hyperpigmentation from reappearing during times of longer sun exposure. |

Can this be worn under make-up. I haven't had success with mmu..I can't seem to get the right color..what type do you use and where do you get it?
Thanks, Lou |

I'm 40 with combination skin. I have hyper-pigmentation. I haven't found anything I love yet..I am looking for something that makes my skin look even toned and need to be more diligent at finding it..
But I do have a few likes. Dremu oil, I use it in the pm and my face seems more radiant in the am. I like the asprin mask as well...I had a hormonal breakout a few weeks ago, I applied an aspirin mask and my face looks much better the next day...
I have read many things about ncn pumpkin mask and plan on ordering it soon..just trying to keep the mailman from delivering so many boxes..my husband seems to always be home when a new parcel arrives.. |

I love the Sofina sunscreen. It is lightweight and holds up to the humidity. Does not leave a white cast, nor a greasy feel. I have not developed any new freckles wearing this sunscreen and I have been using this since March.
I am 44 and I have normal skin.
Haven't found anything that will help my straight hair hold a curl here in FL, and would love to find that! |

Yes it can...it is one of the few sunscreens that doesn't make me look oily. But I only use an SPF that high if I am going to be getting significant exposure since I don't like all the chemicals on a daily basis.
I use Raesin Images MMU...they make many of the private label MMUs out there today, and she has a ton of colors. I am a W2.
Here is a link, but fair warning...this is one of the worst sites EVER!!!

Funny, Rileygirl...I have naturally curly hair and blow dry it straight everyday! I can't find something to keep it from curling up in the summer humidity!!
Loumomofthree...I just ordered the NCN Pumpkin Mask today. I have been using PSF's and I do like it, but I thought it was time to try something stronger! I'll let you know how I like it! |

Not a Fl girl but have to ask - I've heard
Florida is the land of big (huge) breast implants - to the point of rivallying California....
Don't mean to be rude but just wondering - Some Florida girls without them have lamented this to me. |

I'd say that may be more true in the Miami area, with all the model types hanging in South Beach, but I'm sure they are all around. Some of us are just blessed all on our own. Thanks Mom! |

The rumors are true...I just assume that they are all preparing for The Next Big Hurricane, and want their own personal flotation devices.
The interesting thing is that people often assume you have them if you happen to be busty...I have had a number of people ask if I have saline or silicone, and who my doctor was. I tell them who I am plannign to use for my REDUCTION.
Of course, this does not apply to everyone...I have some friends that have some very tasteful implants and it really boosted (pun intended!) their self esteem. |

Yes, it's true...I am in South Florida..and it seems like every other person has implants..I don't even notice them anymore unless they are huge...I must say if done the right size it can really make a body look good. After three children, I thought about it but the thought of having to redo them after 10 yrs or so scared me..so it's push up bras for me...now my dh on the other hand..well he would drive me there..he..he..Lou |

Sister, I don't think that's too much the case in the Orlando area. Unless they are done so well that I don't really notice them at all! I wouldn't say they have them any more here than anywhere else. Again, I am talking the Orlando area. I could definitely see the Miami area having a ton of them, though.
Bethany, too funny about using them as flotation devices! I'll have to tell my husband that.
rcascone, so when you straighten your hair, what products do you use to keep it straight? Have you found something that works? Maybe I should think of growing my hair out and just leaving it straight! |

I grew up in the West Palm area and there seemed to be a lot, I'm up in Tallahassee now and LOTS of the girls at FSU seem to have them. (flotation devices! I love it! I'll have to remember that one!)
As for the original question, I adore neutrogena dry touch spf 70. I've seen an spf 85 they have out now for summer - it's like a numbers contest now! I've also tried Shiseido spf 55 lotion, that is also very non-greasy and sticks around in the humidity.
I also really like tinted moisturizers or MMU in summer, it's really only in winter that I go for the full fledged foundation.
For hair, I really like Frederic Fekkai's olive oil glossing cream, it helps me keep the frizzies away. |

I was just looking at both of these yesterday. Can you tell me the difference between the two..is the psf's anything like Juicy pumpking peel..I tried juicy's but it did nothing for me..no tingling..no redness and no glow..
Thanks, Lou |

I just bought the spf 85 tonight!
I also bought spf 5 from 302 for everyday (which means about 10 mins a day for me, lol) but I haven't received it yet. |

AHHHH! Greetings from Palm Beach County, land of the big B's; Botox, Boobs and Bad face jobs.. But a great place to people watch for sure.
I soooo don't fit in down here, the most invasive procedure I ever had was a filling..
Age - 56
Skin type - gloriously normal... |

The only thing that helped my frizzy hair to stay straight in humid weather is Japanese straightening. It's expensive but worth the price if you are frustrated w/ curly/frizzy hair |
