I just received Susan Posnick's Colorme in Peony. I never was a big fan of mineral makeup but love this product. Whether I wear it over moisturizer or a cream foundation this product gives me a perfect blush. Application is very easy with the attached puff. After rubbing it on my cheeks in a circular motion no blending is needed. The color is a lovely, natural blush.
Many blushes disappoint me as they seem to disappear soon after application. Colorme stays with me a long time. Now I want to try Scarlett. This blush should last me a long time for $32.00.

Lotus Sun is a gorgeous sun-kissed coral with glimmers of silver and gold. (Inspired by Charlize Theron)
Ginger is a subtle bronzed glow, like warmth from the sun after a luxurious day at the beach. (Inspired by Angie Harmon)
Scarlett is a deep flush, fresh from a brisk walk in Central Park. (Inspired by Scarlett Johansson)
Orchid a deep purple with a touch of shimmer, like a royal visit.

Thanks for the review, Winnie! It really does give a "perfect" natural flush, doesn't it? I've got this in Lilly which, compared to Camelia's peachie pink colour is a more muted kind of rosie hue but with less sparkle. I also like the way it is packaged.
For anyone thinking about getting one of these, it's hard to tell from the product shot as it looks kind of flat there, but the dispenser is actually a circular shaped jar approximately 1.5" wide x 1.75" tall with a little round mirror recessed into the top of the lid on the outside. The top black half of the jar is the lid which pops off to reveal the little puff/sponge applicator inside attached to the bottom portion of the jar. (It's similar to the container Bare Escentuals uses for their RareMinerals.) |
