Ghristine - Thank you for pointing us in this direction of microcurrent techniques. When we EDS-ers get rolling on something we sure appreciate all the advantages we can get. I've watched a few of your vids from before and will be eager to see these as well. ~~Sis |

Keliu and Sis,
I'm glad to help. Even other esties don't know alot of these techniques. Kind of surprising.
If you have any special requests on a certain area post it here or in the comments on YouTube.
Cheers,
Christine |

Hi Christine,
Your videos inspired me to start getting microcurrent facials...I just had my second one today. I do have a question as to how much current you should feel.
I think I may be particularly sensitive especially around the mouth and nose, but I worry that if the current is turned down too far I will not get a result. My esty has has being doing this for seven years and is from Eastern Europe so I think she is doing everything ok.
I don't let the current shock me but I definitely feel it zipping and zapping. |

Wow I didn't even know there were response here. I must not be getting emails from eds for some reason.
@Mrshirsh, yes sometimes you feel zips and zaps but it shouldn't be too intense. It sounds like she's got some experience so that's reassuring. Are you seeing any results yet?
@snowtopia, thank you!
@PQ, thank you! Yes I love massage with microcurrent. Really enhances results. How are things going for you? My biz is surprisingly steady for late summer.
@Angelfire, I'm glad. Any suggestions for material are appreciated.
@Carolb, I'm glad I could help. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to get notified every time I upload fresh videos.
Cheers,

PQ I love that article. The Slender tone inspired some of my moves, as did the Safetox. I love my electric skin modalities.
@Bermie2, I'm glad and thank you! |

Christine, I have the facemaster and was very interested in what you had to say. I only use it around my eye area and I follwed your advice and turned it down all the way. I really paid attention to the way it felt and realized I could still feel the current.
Same with the Connie Stevens Time machine. It's like a NuFace in configuration. Turned it out to the lowest setting and still can feel it.
I don't want to cause harm with depleting collagen, but I cannot afford the professional machines at this time. I know you don't endorse any at home machines, but could you recommend something that is safer to use?
I do have a machine from Isomers called the Nutritone. With this one I don't feel anything and that's why I never used it. The woman from Isomers, Manuela, said just what you did that you are supposed to feel the currant. Here is some info. about it:
http://www.isomers.ca/Product.aspx?ProductID=217
Should I just use the Nutritone or something else? I appreciate any advise you can give me. Thank you so much. |

SwissMom - I bought this device about two years ago and it's still working ok. As you can see, it was very cheap.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Microcurrent-Galvanic-Face-Lift-Ion-Skin-Care-Spa-/120761012569?pt=US_Skin_Care&hash=item1c1dead159
With the small hand-held devices, I can't see why there is such an enormous price difference. They all seem to just have two probes and work from a 9v battery. The device above is actually rechargeable.
Also, if you have a look around Ebay you can find some quite inexpensive devices that come with the separate probes and even gloves. Of course, I can't recommend any of these devices because I don't know enough about them - but I don't think you necessarily have to spend thousands of dollars on a machine. |

I agree that less expensive quality machines can be bought but it seems, from what PQ and girltwocb have said, the machine needs to have the square microcurrent waves....maybe they can help us understand how to know if a machine has this. |

I've not had any luck with my inquiries to sellers re the waveform question. But I did find this:
If you Google "microcurrent and square wave" it seems that most microcurrents are square waveform. |

Great info all. I think that many of the home treatment devices have been misleading by calling muscle stimulation devices micro-current
this link,explains the differences from a medical prospective and since many were first used that way it may shed some light, it did for me. If it's been already posted, I apologize.

Before investing, I would ask for the technical specification if they aren't already available on the web, and check the waveforms and output and you should be Okay.

Is microcurrent good for the skin itself-besides the lifting/toning benefits? |
