Has anyone ever compared PSF Microcrystal Resurfacing Cream with Best Bath Store's Dead Sea Facial Scrub?

Thanks,
Betsy

Hi Betsy!

I haven't tried the Best Bath's yet, but I have to tell you, I recently re-discovered why I originally loved the PSF crystals. My skin was looking so blah and my makeup just enhanced the flakies and then I remembered about my microderm crystal cream, pulled it out and WOW..skin looked 100 times better, smoother, and brighter. I can't believe I forget about this little jar of miracle crystals! LOL!

Will be interested to hear how the BB compare but in the meantime, if you haven't tried the PSF ones I know you won't be disappointed. I prefer the texture of it over others so far. Very Happy

Thanks doodlebug. I am using the Best Bath now and I do like it. I had a sample of the PSF but I shared it with my daughter so I didn't have as long a trial. Both products feel similar - very fine grain. I just wonder if there is a benefit to using the crystals in the PSF product over the sea salt. I do think it's helping to use something everyday.

Hi Betsy, how are you? The spherical conindrum [alumina silicate] beads come from ruby and sapphire. Since they're round spheres, they're less likely to tear your skin. The same can't be said for irregularly shaped salt crystals that can tear more delicate facial skin. I use either PSF or EpidermxII microdermabrasion creams on my face and leave the salt and apricot scrubs for the rest of me.

Has anyone ever used the Microdermabrasion cloth from Best Bath Store? I love their facial scrub for my face but I need something rougher for my neck, arms, (legs, before shaving, and no way salt is going there!) etc.

Great Athena, thanks. OK, thanks for the explanation. I can use the rest of the Best Bath Salts in the shower.

I have a question, with the microderm clothes does anyone else find that they feel kinda rough, scratchy..almost painful when you rub them over your hand? And does this mean I should be careful to not over buff? I just want to be sure I get off all my makeup. Also, I was curious about using this cloth allover to prep for self tanner...anyone?

TIA!
