I've got a couple of milia under my eyes, on my eye lids, on the side of my nose, and on my cheekbone. I've tried a lot of the homemade stuff and nothing has worked. Is there anything I could do other than go to a dermatologist to get them removed? I was searching on google earlier and found three products: Skintactix Blackhead Dissolver, YonKa Phyto Contour, and the Naturalis Milia Treatment. I also saw somewhere that said to exfoliate daily. Would that mean to use a scrub daily? Sounds kinda harsh! Anyone ever try any of these? I don't wanna end up wasting my money. These milia are taking over my life!

I don't use any lotion, makeup, or eyecream under my eyes.

I got a facial today. It hurt really bad. My face looks like a pizza! It is all swollen where she extracted stuff from and there were a couple spots where I was bleeding. The lady said that there wouldn't be any scars and that it would go away in a couple days. Should I be using anything to prevent scars or something? It looks like almost all of my milia are gone except one right by my eye that she said it was to close to my eye to extract. She also got rid of the ones on my eyelids. I just hope that there won't be any scarring and that it'll go away by tomorrow or the next day.

Correct me if I am wrong (for those who maybe have more experience than me), but when you get a facial extractions are not suppose to bleed (I mean when you get them by a professional). I do extractions Shock And mine bleed, but that is because I am not giving in once I go for broke... I know bad..scarring...stay away from the mirror. But I have had extractions done many many times, and I am not bleeding. Now I may have a red spot that goes away in an hour or so, but you can not go in and have extractions and expect to walk out with every pore clear. Sometimes extractions need to "worked" on, so you have to go back a time or two

Honestly, it sounds like Edward Scissorhands did your facial! Shock Shock Shock

At this point, I would be trying to minimize any additional irritation...don't put any face products on there and make it worse.

Gee...hang in there, and keep us posted!

My face still looks really bad. Some of the swelling is still there and theres still a couple of blood spots. I just washed my face with water last night. What should I use to get rid of the blood spots? She seemed like she was rushing and that probably had to been the worst pain I've gone through. I'm not sure how I'm gonna go to work...

Should I put neosporin under my eye and the parts that are bleeding? I think I remember reading somewhere that someone did this and it healed nicely. I just hope I don't end up with a bunch of scars.

Yes, I would use a Q-Tip and dab it on all the spots that are inflamed and were bleeding. I do this when I have picked at a pimple (I know I know Shock ) and it is red and it hurts. I dab some neosporin on them when I go to bed and it takes away any infection or redness. If they are deeper, it may take a couple nights, but it does help heal.

Can I use Aquaphor healing ointment instead? I can't seem to find the neosporin. I'm sorry for all the questions. Last one I promise.

Oh my god, how much did you pay for that facial? It sounds awful. I get extractions during my facials at a reputable place, and i leave with very few red marks, if any at all, and they disappear in a few hours. In fact, afterward, my face is glowing. They are not supposed to extract anything that doesn't look "ready" to extract. That means, that almost all of your blackheads are left alone, except for the few that the facialist feels can be extracted with very little discomfort and/or red marks left afterward!!!

Just my two cents Smile

I guess your blackheads were taken out, so it sewll up your skin and cause redness. HOwever, it should be better after one or 2 days. But In these few days don't do any scrub, coz I am afraid it will hurt your skin.

Everything seems like it healed up nicely from far away, but if I look close enough, in the right light I can see all of the spots where she extracted the milia. Sad It cost me $70, she first said $60 but then said $70 cause it took her half an hour longer. I don't believe it was worth it though.

Give it time...I am sure it will be invisible before you know it. I'm just glad that it healed up as well as it did...it just sounded horrible.

Sorry you had to go through that!
