I am Asian with short eye lash for sure...

Anyway, looking at Talika eye lash products. I am not sure which one is the good one to try first since they all claimed do good to the lash. So, any suggestion?

It seems that people aren't getting as good results with the new Jan Marini formula, and it's so expensive and I personally didn't think it was amazing, though I did see results. I've tried the Talika, and it done nothing at all for my lashes. I'd recommend using the Lucia Essence, which used to be talked about a lot on this forum, before the Jan Marini was popular, and many saw good results using the Lucia and it's cheaper too. I found using it in conjunction with Ardell very effective.

I do have Lucia. After several applications, I do see the difference. i am thinking of trying something new, I heard good things about jan Marini, old one, but not the new formulated one. Revitalash is expensive as well. While trying to find an inexpensive alternative, I bumped into Talika. But, thanks for letting me know.

I used the Talika for eyebrows before on my eyelashes, and it helped to make them 25% longer. Nothing to wow about, but still better than nothing. When I stopped using it, my lashes went back to normal. They got a bit thicker, too.

If you can buy Carekate's Lush Lash serum, that's the best one to get.

I tried Revitalash, and it dried my eyes out where my eyes were constantly red and brittle. It felt like I got gravels or sands in my eyes. The feeling went away when I stopped using it. It did make some lashes nearly 100% longer, but not all. Some were about 50% longer.

I've now started to use Massive Lash. So far I haven't experienced as rapid growth as I did with the Jan Marini one, but I still feel that there is some growth however slight at this time and plan on using it for the next few months.

I believe that Talika contains natural ingredients. I have used one tube for my lashes, and it worked to some extent. I wasn't consistent in my use, and believe I could have got better results.

As far as I'm concerned, the disputed glaucoma drug (or its derivative) is removed in the reformulated versions of RevitaLash and Jan Marini. I think people have reported that the effect of these products are now moderate.

I have been eyeing another lash serum, which is quite new on EDS. It's the Glominerals GloLash Enhance eyelash serum.

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/glominerals-glolash-enhan-p_8171.htm

The first mentioned ingredient is Bioengineered Octa/Copper/Oligo Peptides - a bioactive combination of amino acids, the building blocks of protein essential for healthy eyelash growth (quote).

It sells for 145 CAD, so It'd better be a quality product. Smile

I heard there are some tumorigenic gradients in it. I found it is better to use vitamin E to coat the lashes. It really works, not just for me. (I got the tip from another beauty forum)

Here's the full ingredients list for GloMinerals GloLash Enhance Eyelash Serum:

Bioengineered Octa/Copper/Oligo Peptides
GF complexes - patented complex of high performance conditioning factors
Sodium Hyaluronate
Biotin Vitamin H
Panthenol
Pantethine
Hydrolyzed mucopolysaccharides
Allantoin
Cucurbita Pepo Seed Extract (Pumpkin Seed Extract)
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice Extract)

Lavendula, I would like to know which of these ingredients that are possibly tumorigenic and the source of your information, if you remember.

The ingredient that I have emphasised is apparently a "secret agent" they won't disclose.

Any information on this product and reviews from users will be appreciated. I wonder if it contains the glaucoma drug.

I've been using Talika Eyelash Conditioning Cream for a couple of weeks. The directions say to use it morning and night for 28 days, but it's pretty oily, so I only use it at night. Plus, I'm not consistent with it and have missed nights here and there. I haven't noticed any new growth or thicker lashes, but it does seem to condition nicely. I have to wash my eyes as soon as I wake up because my eyes get irritated if I don't. I'll write a review when I finish the pot, but so far I wouldn't recommend it. It seems you'd get just as good results with a quality avocado, Vit E, castor, emu or other suitable oil.

Hi, Septembergirl. Sorry I can not give you the exact gradients that maybe tumorgenic. I first get this information from SKINSTORE products review. But now it seems that the information has been deleted.
However, I believe in it because it makes sense.
Tumor is because of the unusal growth of cells. If the product can really let your lashes grow that fast, there should have some gradients like growth factors in it.
I do not like all products that give you very quick effects. I think everything break the natural roles are not good.

You've absolutely got a point there, Lavendula.

To draw it further, some people get longer lashes with castor oil and Talika serum (which I believe is based on more natural ingredients). Personally, I have experienced more lashes and new sprouts after incorporating green foods and vitamin supplements in my routine. Also, nails and hair grow faster.

These factors will also stimulate cells, obviously, but in a natural way without spooky ingredients involved. What's your opinion on these natural approaches?

TIA. Smile

Thank you, Havana8. Of course I should have realised that only the key ingredients were listed on EDS.

Any experts, feel free to evaluate the ingredients list and identify which agents that are possible growth factors in the serum.

I have tried the Talika eye lash products but would recommend mavala eye-lite treatment for lash. It has kept my lashes conditioned and they have grown fuller despite wearing mascara almost every day.

Talika is more expensive and the results are not as good.
