I am looking for a good self tanner for the face. Of course don't want it to be too rich for my skin. I heard about the new one from Clarins, "liquid bronze self tanning". Was wondering if anyone has tried this or any other that does not look orange or yellow but gives a nice glow to the skin. I also always worry about streaking.
What's everyone out there using? Thanks, Babs |

I use the St. Tropez Mousse on body and face. It has a color guard so no problem with streaking. You can learn more about it from 2 other current self-tanner threads.
I've heard the Clarins one for face is a good one too but I haven't used it.
A cheaper one than St. Tropez that I've used and liked (more subtle developing of color) for body and face is Aveeno's Continuous Radiance moisturizing lotion. |

Clarins range is excellent and has won many awards.
Fake Bake is also another good one. |

The Liquid Bronze is foolproof, and it is almost impossible to get a streaky, orange result (even if you try ). I am on my third bottle of it, and still like it, which is really something to write home about. I apply it using my fingers, because I find that using a cotton ball/pad would just be a waste of good product. |

I've been using the Clarins Liquid Bronze for ages and it's the only one I'll now use on my face. Absolutely love it.
Like Nemi, I apply using fingers because of the potential waste if you use cotton pads. |

I never tried any (I'm to scared). But there was a girl at my work that had a great tan (in paricualr her face) and I asked her if she uses the solarium and what cream she uses. She saud she uses the L'oreal face tanner. I was very suprise it was so nice. |

does Clarins Liquid Bronze clog your pores? I am afraid to using anything other than my skin care products nowadays, but if it is good I don't mind as i can use a tan for my face too. |

No, it has a light texture and I've never had any problems with it clogging pores at all. |

I like "Too Faced Tanning bed in a tube" It doesn't streak or clog pores, I have blackheads and find most self tanners make them darker except for this one. Natural colour too. I also used St. Tropez on my face and it doesn't look good at all, good for body only. |

They have a new self-tanner that is basically a clear, watery liquid that has no pore-clogging ingredients. It has lots of skin-loving ingredients in it for skin health. I apply it with a velour puff and it goes on beautifully.

Oh I really like Kanebo instant natural golden glow uv (gel). I mean if it works for my skin than I think probably for almost "all" skin. Because I have really dehydrated skin and spots, but when I aplly this it doesn't seem more dehydrated and it also covers those spots and most important I do not look orange, I have a yellow skintone that's why I think I look orange easy, but with this not. Oh and you can build-up the layers. But it is not like tans that you apply one day and it stays. It's like you apply daycream, only this stays all day and at night you remove it. |

I don't know if I am allowed to mention Clinique on this board...? Everybody thought I had a natural tan when I was using Clinique self tanner for face. The colour is more like golden-rosy than golden-orange. |
