I got a sample of Noxzema Triple Clean Blackhead Cleanser while I was in the US a few months back and I started using this a week ago out of curiosity. I ran out of my usual Jan Marini glycolic cleanser (which I reach for when my skin starts looking congested and is threatening a pimple or two) and wanted to use something to clear-up evidence of my slightly too festive Xmas holiday.... I have a bit of a soft spot for Noxzema because of the minty feeling it gives (love that!) so I thought this might be the perfect time to try this since I don't usually have breakouts (unlike right now).
The Triple Clean Blackhead Cleanser is a thickish white cream based cleanser with little blue beads through it. They are quite gentle and while you feel them on the skin when you're massaging the product in, it doesn't feel like a harsh cleanser. No particularly nice smell (as to be expected with Noxzema really) but a really refreshing feeling afterwards. It seems to be a pretty good exfoliant but too harsh for my normal skin. Unfortunately, using this twice daily has started to really dry out my skin to the extent that even using a richer moisturiser during the day is not really helping and I have to reapply during the day (in airconditioning though). So, I will have to discontinue using this. On the effectiveness note, I don't see much of a difference with blackheads though they are not a big problem for me. There is a significant positive difference with my breakout, the cleanser seems to have cleared and healed up most of it in a relatively short period of time. |

I thought I would try this product because it was cheaper and easy to find. My skin became dry and flaky with some breakouts. I had to give it away. |

I tired this stuff too, and didn't see any difference in my black heads- skin did feel drier though, but then my skin out of whack trying to overcompensate the dryness by producing a boat load of oil! |

I tied it too and it broke my skin out. This is a last time that I bought something cheap. |
