I just recently placed an order at Medsmex with a credit card that I just opened, since it had 0% interest offer, and it was the only charge I have made on the card so far. A week after placing the order I have had two foreign charges in New Zealand and Denmark for online sites.
Since this is a brand new card that I had only used so far for Medsmex then this clearly shows that there is something going on there.
I have contacted my credit card company and they are going through a dispute process, but there is no doubt that there is some connection of these fraudulent charges to the charge with Medsmex.
So be very cautious when using this company since it is apparent that customers' credit card information is not being properly protected.

I've posted this elsewhere, not sure if it's connected with people's strange transactions after ordering, but thought it might be of interest (this was in their mailing list email):
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: We would like our customers to be aware of some recent online activity that has had some negative reflection on Medsmex.com, at no fault of our own. A couple of weeks ago, Medsmex.com site was a target of a massive distributed denial of service attack. This attack prevented our customers from gaining access to our website for almost a week’s time. At about the same time the attack started a New website appeared on the web claiming to be a corporation in Mexico selling medicines and making it appear as if they have some kind of affiliation with Medsmex.com. |
