Hiya!
All right,I have what is referred to I believe as hallowness under my eyes, quite bad actually, which from what I understand plagues many of us.. I have been considering getting filler injections but have read that most of the common fillers such as Restylane etc are not to be used for under the eyes.. So anyone who has had this procedure with injectables, I would love to hear about your experience, feel free to pm me or reply here..
Thank you in advance! |

Yes, I have juvederm plus under my eyes which I am very happy with. However, I did have an extremely unusual reaction, and got severe bruising which "stained" the skin, and took several months to clear. In retrospect I think this may have been caused by my fish oil supplements (which thin the blood) or getting it done when I was mentruating.
Obviously, make sure the person doing it is very experienced in using fillers there. Overfilling or too superficial filling is a common problem, but can be easily and cheaply corrected using another injectable called hylaurondaise.
Cost me $500 Australian for 1 syringe...supposed to last 2 years (being the thicker Juvederm product), but we'll see?????
Oh I have had lots of other fillers etc, but this is the first time under eyes... so any questions pls ask away!!!!

Has anyone considered having fat injected into this area? I've been trying to research but not much info so far. |

GirlieGirl,
I've seen discussions of fat grafting for that area at several of the plastic surgery sites. |
