oh its soo cute, i like their packaging on lip gloss and makeup bag. I think it will launch in Singapore around march-april. Still have a long wait.~~  |

There is nothing special about it if you don't particularly care for Hello Kitty. She is has become a cultural cartoon pop icon. In the recent years, several designers have paid a licensing fee to use her image. Ex. Kimora Lee Simmons, Judith Leiber....Even Diamonique for QVC has a Hello Kitty line now. I believe 5 billion has been transacted in licensing fees. She's everywhere. A quick look atwww.hellokittyhell.com illustrates this.
I was at a Mac store that released this today and it was unusually busy. I found that the lip colors were better than depicted on the website.
I know....to someone who hasn't even heard of this character, it sounds pretty strange. |

yea most hello kitty stuff are pinkish. Some are too girly for mature ladies.
This hello kitty is in black and not too childish. It definately attract more mature ladies with spending power on this product! |

| I checked local mac stores and found the hello kitty stuff. Actually, they are not as cute as what I thought. It seems like nothing special except the packages. I guess I wouldn't buy. I focus more on the quality than the packaging. |

I was always wondering about the color, shouldn't Hello Kitty be pink and white? That's the Kitty we love!

| Truth be told, I hoped it would be nicer but I still bought alot anyway. I like two of the lipstick colors best. I hope to make it to kiddyland in Japan one day to buy the really cute stuff. |
