Hey everyone! I am feeling so overwhelmed with all the different products that I have tried and want to try and facials that I want to get etc. I am just wondering if anyone hear can recommend an experienced esthetician in the toronto area that can recommend products for my skin and knows what she is talking about. I have been to a few different ones but they just seem to want to sell products and services.
Thanks in advance! |

I haven't been there in years but the last esthetician that I went to was Katie Horvath.
She's at 94 Cumberland St, Suite 304.

She was great. She had Enya music playing in the background and she didn't try to sell me anything.
My friend highly recommends Pure + Simple.

was Katie able to recommend products for your skin at all? Did she seem pretty knowledgeable? Did you have any problems with your skin that you were working on when you went there?
The pure and simple place sounds amazing, I am so surprised I haven't heard about it before. There is the beauty of these beauty boards.
thanks! |

When I last saw Katie I had "good" skin. She even told me that I was doing a good job with my skin and that it was in good condition.
I love her honesty. If I recall correctly her office was stocked with brands like Yonka.
I'm actually thinking of going to Pure + Simple for the "Extreme Clean
Deep Pore Facial". |

Does anyone have any updated info about good esthetician in TO?
I went to Elm Spa several times and had facials with a girl named Lidia, and even though she is very knowledgable and does a very thorough cleaning, I did not like the fact that the facial does not almost include face massage
Does anyone knows a good esthetician who is good at both - cleaning and massage! |

I go to a new spa now. It's Tu-Hoa Beauty Center (located at Yonge/St. Clair). I am in love with the Acne Solution Treatment Facial (they use Yonka products).

You can also check out other spas onwww.wayspa.com. |

Thanks a lot Yen for the link!
But I'm looking not so much for a spa, but rather for a specific esthetician. I do not really care about the atmosphere and all the facilities, I just want to find a skillful esthetician , preferably medical like Lidia or studied in Europe.
Sometimes an overall spa experience can be good, but ur face looks worse next day than before |
