...I was searching on the net for the next answer to my problem skin. Some products are just too harsh ( Proactiv...for example) other just did not do much for me ( Yonka, GM Collin, Clinique )
So I was planing on ordering from EDS some Kate Sommerville but I end up on Acjuva.com and I really like what I read, the ingredients and the price so I decide to order it without searching more then that.
On acne.org they say its a scam !!! What ?!?
As anybody on EDS ever heard about this ? I trust you guys ! |

I have not heard of it but I dont know if I would call it a scam. For me, it does contain a bunch of irritants that I know I would not be able to use. But we all react differently it may work fine for you. It looks like have a good return policy so no harm in giving it a try.
Is acne your main issue? Dont get sucked in to feeling like you have to use 1 entire line. Start with a gentle cleanser and then add 1 acne treatment, BP works well for many. Start w/ 2.5%.
If you have tried several acne treatments already maybe its time to see a derm for treatment. |

Proactiv makes a sensitive skin forumla...but you have to call and ask for it.
While I haven't used the sensitive skin version, I can say that ProActive was the ONLY thing that worked when I was going through a very difficult period (as in years) of hormonal acne. |

Thanks for the reply...
I send a e mail to the company ( there was no address or phone number ) and they respond quickly and will not ship the products and refund me..that's good news !!!
I was thinking about trying the sensitive formula of Proactiv but from the US with shipping and everything it is to expensive.
I got a eye on some brands here on EDS : Kate Sommerville, PSF and Bioelements. Not sure witch one yet. |

I really think the Murad acne line is the best. Its based more on salicylic and retinol than BP, which many are finding to do more harm than good to the skin in the long run. Even in the short term BPs start a cyclic effect in which the skin is dried out thus causing it to produce more oil and so on and so forth. The acne complex kit from Murad is affordable and it contains everthing you need: cleanser, moisturizer, spot treatment and acne gel treatment. it is kind to skin, with ingredients to calm redness and irritation. I promise I would choose it over Proactive any day. |

Katya,
If you ever read the QVC board, they have all been raving about a product called Buzz on Acne. I bought based on their reviews and it is the best acne product that I have ever used! No salicylic acid or BP, all natural and hydrating. I've been on this for two months and it got rid cysts, blackheads and everything! Red marks included. For the first time in my life, I'm receiving compliments on my "beautiful" skin! There is a lot of information on their site. One product you just spray on and let dry. It is so easy to use and they tout the healthiness of it.
