I bought a couple of these products at Walgreens after seeing them on HSN. If nothing else, they have a kitschy name, right?
I bought the Exfoliating peeling Cleanser and the Pampering conditioner. Both are excellent. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and shiny and smooth, and the scent is not overpowering-- just sort of a clean, light, slightly powdery scent. I've noticed my hair has been looking better with each use.
The cleanser is actually very moisturizing to my skin, as it has jojoba and avocado oils in it. I sort of think it's helping to clear up some breakouts I had too.
All the Yes to Carrots product are supposed to be loaded with beta carotene from the "the orange group" vegetables, and have dead sea mud. They're also paraben free.
Yes to Carrots is BOGO half off this week at Walgreens-- I think I might go back and get the shampoo and the night cream! Or just stock up on the conditioner-- it's rare I find a conditioner I love! |

I have looked at that everytime I go into Walgreens but never took the plunge. I might try the shampoo/conditioner since it is on sale. I am always trying out shampoo/conditioner. Thanks for the info. |

I bought the shampoo and conditioner a few weeks ago. Love it!!! The shampoo felt fine on my hair, not overly moisturizing BUT when I follow with the conditioner..WOW! I have thick, curly and unruly hair - which I have also had highlighted, lowlighted, in between lighted...you get the picture This feels wonderful and leaves my hair feeling very soft.
Even though us curly hairs are not supposed to wash every day, I do. I have to - my hair never looks good the next day if I just sleep on it. Also, I am in the clubs a lot (live music is awesome) and the smoke smell gets to me so I have to wash it!!
Anyway, my hair feels soft, less frizzy and curls up nicely. Also, it smells really nice. My daughter was over the other day and we were looking up something on the computer. I heard her sniff and she said "Mom, your hair smells good!"...
I would definitely repurchase. I did not get BOGO, I missed it by one day but they had coupons for $2 off each product so I still saved a bit.
I like this way better than the Ojon Tawaka shampoo(cleanser) and conditioner I got recently. I use those on my body now to use them up.... I think the Yes to Carrots does far better on my hair. Thanks for sharing the info on this.

I really like the conditioner! I shampoo only every second or third day, but use the conditioner in the shower daily. It does a better job of smoothing and moisturizing my fine, thin, curly, poke-up-in-all-directions hair than my old reliable Ojon ultra-hydrating conditioner. It smells like baby powder, only better, and puts me in a good mood just smelling it. |

I bought this today. Has anyone tried the hair masque? They have coupons for 2 off at the register for any Yes To Carrots products at Walgreens. |

I tried both the shampoo and conditioner, but it gave me a lot of flakes and my hair got more dry, so I had to return them to Walgreens. (They told me I could return them within 30 days if I wasn't happy with the products.) I tried using both S&C twice, and the results were the same both times. Perhaps I'm sensitive to some ingredients in the S or C. My hair is also still recovering from severe dryness, and it is very finicky right now. So my results are probably not typical. But thought I'd post still. |

I would have never thought to pick this product up! Who'd thought carrots?! I have curly hair also so I'm definitely trying the conditioner, and I may pick up the night cream too.

Hi BBD, I hope you find your receipt, too! Even though it's not that expensive, it's a drag to have something you can't use lying around the bathroom. You must be sensitive to something in the ingredients like me. I know certain haircare products will do that to me (like WEN and the BBS shampoo)...they make my neck and shoulders very itchy, and I'd scratch them even during sleep. |

As I posted above I purchased this but never got a chance to try it. It did nice things to my daughter's curly, longish hair. Too bad it got poured down the drain by said daughter. LOL. |

thanks for a nice review violetanne. i am very tempted.
havana--i was wondering what the ingredients were, so nice of you to post them. i wish they would use a gentler surfactant in their shampoo as it doesn't seem all the special to me if it has SLS/SLES in it. i might give the hair mud a whirl as the cinnamon oil sounds like it would smell like carrot cake!

I'm glad some are liking the Yes to Carrots! I'm still using the conditioner, but had to switch to a color care shampoo because I just had my hair done. I keep meaning to go back to Walgreens and get the mud mask for hair. You're right skincareaddicted, I bet the just added the cinnamon to make it smell yummy. |

Many of us cannot use WEN products because we have an allergic reaction to the essential oils.. I had a horrible reaction and have most of my bottle left... The Carrot stuff is awesome. No allergy, I have very curly hair and it's been processed over the last 10 years for gray coverage. It is really a great conditioning product. The Frizz is much less as well. The facial mask is great as well. I am going to buy the moisturizer this week. |

No shipping at Walgreens but if you don't have one near you then HSN will have to do. |
