You want to take care of your skin now so that you will have healthier skin later. Taking care of your skin should start when you are a kid because it is very important for everyone of every age to take care of your skin. However, it is really important when you get older. When you are in your late twenties and older you really need to start taking care of your skin. Here are some very simple skin care tips that you can use to make sure you have healthy skin in the future. You decide if you want to follow these skin care tips or not.

One: When you are outdoors you want to make sure that you use sunscreen to block the harmful rays of the sun from destroying your skin.

Two: You want to take Vitamin C on a regular basis. Vitamin C is very good for your skin. It is also good for other aspects of your body but it is also used very effectively for reducing spots on the skin. If you have spots on your skin it is important that you get to a doctor or a dermatologist for help.

Three: You want to cleanse your face on a daily basis. Also, use a good toner that will close the open pores of your skin. This is vital to healthy skin. Your face is exposed to many different conditions that can damage the skin every day, not to mention the grease and the oil that accumulates on your skin. You need to make sure that you wash all of the dirt and grime of the day away before you go to bed at night. It is also a good idea to wash your face in the morning.

Four: You want to avoid smoke filled rooms as often as you can because the smoke is not good for your skin or your hair. If you smoke you want to remember that you are damaging your skin. Take that into consideration when it comes to skin care.

Five: This is one of those skin care tips that you will have to decide if you want to do or not. It is recommended that you use all natural skin care products on your skin and face whenever possible. There are many products that are available that have harmful ingredients in them. If you want to have a good skin care plan you want to make sure that it includes checking out and trying different natural skin care products and recipes for your skin care.

If you follow these skin care tips you can help your skin maintain a healthy look. It is always a good idea to take care of your skin and more and more people are catching onto how important it is. You don’t have to follow these skin care tips but if you don’t than you can be guaranteed of having wrinkles and other skin problems as you get older.

Hey! I just wanted to add a few points to what you've just said. First of all, using simply Vit.C as a sole antioxidant is not enough. The damages that occur with age are not limited to just free radicals that can be controlled with Vit.C...other antioxidants are necessary as well such as Vit.A&E, L-ergothionine, and many other natural antioxidants you get via eating/food.

Another point I wanted to make is that looking for natural skincare products may not always be the best policy, especially when you like products that minimizes or simply don't use preservatives. Extracts of natural ingredients or antioxidants such as Vit.C goes rancid or bad very easily. Their function/purpose will then become ineffective. Recently, new artificial vitamins have been developed where they attach a tag to the vitamin molecule to make it more stable when it's in a cream and can only be activated when metabolized by the skin.

Oh and one more point, the quality of the extracts you find in natural skincare products are hard to measure. It is dependent on a variety of factors such as the health of the plant it was extracted from, precipitation pattern, fertility of the soil, processing mechanism, etc. How can the company ensure that every product it manufactures carry the same quantity and quality of effective ingredients from year to year Question

Anyways, I agree that having a more natural line of beauty products is good but recently I've been having my doubts. I think having a mix of both (natural and man-made) is probably better...especially when new ingredients are formulated to repair DNA damages, new transporting vesicles are made to effectively carry the desired ingredients to desired locations, modifications of ingredients made to prolong their activity-life, etc.

Hope this helps! Wink
