I've been trying out the full coverage foundation as a concealer, however it's been causing a breakout. I've searched high and low and can't come up with the receipt...I know they take things back with the receipt, but does anyone know if MAC happens to offer anything without a receipt? |

M.A.C has been owned by Estée Lauder since 1996. Regardless of the store where you bought it & the store's policies: as a Lauder-owned company, M.A.C ought to accept the unsatisfactory item, no questions asked!
It doesn't matter how much of the product was used. You have purchased a product owned & endorsed by Estée Lauder. They will stand behind their products 100%, in order preserve their reputation.
In fact, Lauder employees (including the employees of it's many cosmetic divisions) are NOT supposed to even LOOK at what you're returning. If the product is empty, half-full, or appears in a Lauder/company-owned package: they should GRACIOUSLY accept it's return ... REGARDLESS of the the consumer's reason(s).
Doesn't matter. If you weren't/aren't happy with it: you should get your money back.
I worked for Lauder years ago. Regardless of the return policies of the store where the Lauder counter was: customers could return Lauder products, without trouble.
While I was at the counter, we had $200+ jars of ReNutrive product, filled with ... yogurt.
We weren't allowed to open/look at the product until the customer had left.
Didn't matter. Lauder's name was more important. "Make the customer happy."
Take it back to the counter - any M.A.C location - they HAVE to accept it's return!
If they argue: get the name(s) of the people at the counter, and contact Estée Lauder directly.
Guaranteed: you will see action, regardless of the store policy.
P.S. M.A.C is now cheaply produced, costs have increased, and ... most make-up artists want nothing to do with the line. Ironic, since make-up artists were the foundation of M.A.C's word-of-mouth reputation.
No mercy. |
