In the pharmacy at SG, I came across this line, and I only bought their moisturizer: Unscented 24 Hour Pure Moisture. My skin was flaking due to my frequent short travels. And I was soo impressed with how supple and dewy my skin looked the next day.
I went back and purchased the Sandalwood & Neroli Pure Facial Cleansing Gel since the cleanser from my derm ran out. And OMG, it smelled so good and natural and it left my skin really clean without the tight feeling! I think I will use this in the mornings
I was completely bought by the whole line so I purchased their day creme: Rose De Mai Anti-oxidant Day Creme, night creme: Lavender & Rose Repairing Anti-oxidant Night Creme.
I have used them solely and they are great! Now I just have to try to incorprate this to my "normal" routine
They have soo much good stuff in them:
ALA, Gingko, Anti oxidants (A, B5, C & E), EOs, Shea Butter, CPOs of macademia nut, organic avocado, jojoba and sandlwood, Vipers Bugloss Oil (omega 3,6,9 essential fatty acids) and they use Panama bark as natural cleanser.
** Certified organic
Now I have also succumbed to their haircare since the Long Hair Community gave their thumbs up to it. I just tried their Lavander shampoo and Macademia Conditioner, and I already feel the change in my hair!
PARABEN, SULFATE & ETHOXYLATE FREE
• CERTIFIED ORGANIC INGREDIENTS WHERE AVAILABLE
• WITHOUT ANIMAL INGREDIENTS OR TESTING
I want to share my review incase you come across this line, I don't think many have tried it (I think Mabsy has given me her inputs )
You can check them out at:

Oh! I also purchased their eye creams, I shall review them once I get the chance to use them... I'm such a sucker for organics... |

I quite like the A'kin skincare range too, but I really like their Alchemy hair care range, I the smell of their mandarin shampoo! They're definitely one of the best & most reasonably priced organic/natural based products I've ever used. |

I have used the Rose & Geranium Cleanser & Toner in One. I liked it, wasn't drying, didn't break me out, but i didn't like the fact that towards the end of the bottle there was mould developing on the container & the lid. That put me off repurchasing.
I have the Revitalising Night Eye Cream & i really like this product. Will definitely repurchase. Very moisturising for my fine under eye lines. Don't know if it does anything for puffiness or dark circles because i don't really suffer these problems.
I have also bought the Rose & Shea Intensive Moisture Complex but this one broke me out. I used it for 3 days & got a new pimple each day! I used up the product as a neck cream. Very moisturising. I have very dry/dehydrated skin but this was too much for my skin. |

Thanks for the review joziegrozy. I used to order a whole lot of Akins' body products back in UK as I like to use sulfate and paraben free shampoos and body washes. I think it's a good brand but I never tried their face care. I'm using PSF cosmetics at the moment but maybe I'll give Akin a go again. |
