Hi -- I am 24 and for 3 years, I have had a recurring zit (from a skin blemish I have always had). It is on my cheek and every month or two I can squeeze a small waxy ball out of it.
The ball is only a couple of mm across (the thickness of a piece of rice, but just pretty much spherical). It is pretty firm, not really squashable, unless you try hard! It seems to build up across the time until I can squeeze it out.
Aftter 3 years I am starting to get annoyed! I have searched the internet and cannot find anything similar.
Any clues why this is so regular? What can I do to rid myself of the waxy balls!!! |

It sounds as though your skin is congested! Have you been exfoliating on a regular basis? Exfoliation will remove dead skin cells, which trap dirt and oil. What you're removing from your blemish is sebum - the hard, waxy substance that is clogging that area. Hormonal fluctuations can also be a culprit. Don't pick! This could cause the blemish to fester, and infection to spread! |
