It seems as if my skincare routine has gradually changed from chemical type products to natural oils.
My favorites are Emu Oil, Argan Oil (Dry Touch Argan Oil made by Kiehls), Shea Butter, and cold pressed avocado oil.
I basically will rotate these oils, so that my face gets a dose of each. Aside from cleasing, exfoliating, and toning (with 10% glycolic toner), that is pretty much it! What do you guys think?
Oh, forgot to mention one more essential product in my stash: Platinum Skincare fading gel with alpha arbutin and lactic acid. This stuff has really faded some melasma areas! |

Hi Bella,
I love Emu,avocado,Rose Hip oil.I've got dry,mature skin.
It does sound like you have a nice blend of oils and exfoliation. Also, good tips on the melasma fading. |

I'm using Tamanu at night and Argan in the mornings. I am also using Korres Yogurt cream at night to help my dehydration (with oiliness). Should I put this on before or after the oil?
I find that the oils, even tho I mix it with HA, isn't enough moisture for me. I still get a little flaky from the actives. |

If your skin likes it then thats great! I too have been switching over to oils for cleansing and moisture.
Also just FYI, The oils you mentioned are carrier oils not essential oils. |

| I cleanse with olive and castor oil and also apply rosehip, pomegranate and emu oil as moisturisers. My skin definitely likes the oils much more than thick creams (which, I believe, block pores). |

| I use 10% Glycolic Acid Toner from Platinum Skinare. This product is amazing and has controlled my acne prone skin. |
