This morning I suddenly noticed my nasolabial folds have become two very clear fine lines, even when I am not smiling. What a bad news to start a day!
Anyone has any experience how to reduce the appearance of those lines?
I am considering Valmont...? |

Perhaps you could check out the dermaroller thread. Also, there are retinoids and vitamin c. |

Fillers (restylane, juvederm, etc.) are also an option. |

Thanks very much for the iputs. I've never heard of dermaroller before I came to this forum. |

Chiming in here. I think the Dermaroller is great for fine lines but if you are getting nasolabial folds I have not found a cream, serum, or any other magic potent that is going to get rid of them.
I agree with Bethany. Fillers are the way to go. I have had Radiesse and love the results. |

Here's another EDS thread to read about the subject:
Nasolabial Lines - What to Do?
One thing that's helped mine has been products that help plump up and really hydrate and firm my skin; beyond that, I'll be going the injectable dermal filler route some day. Gravity sucks! |

I would try to accept the lines that have appeared, and then use topical vitamin A and C serums and sunscreen, and eat anti-aging foods in order to prevent deeper lines from forming. |

I have had wonderful results with flexeffect, derma rolling and DMAE. For me the Flexeffect exercises and DMAE from skinactives have almost made mine disappear. I really had very prominent ones too

The dermawand seems to soften mine. The fillers I had made little difference, it's true what they say about finding a good injector. |

FlexEffect is a system of facial exercises. Here is a link: http://www.flexeffect.com
No devices involved, just your hands, and your time. You need to get their book/DVD. They also have good support forum. |

I am going in the next month or so the renew my juvaderm filler. This has been so great and lasted sssooooooo long, since the Feb. before last. It is also cheaper here than restylane, which only lasts about 7-8 months for me. My doc now makes an injectible cocktail of juvaderm, an anesthetic for numbing and also adds something to stop/slow the bruising, which I do horribly, so I am thrilled. It's the only thing for me that has worked so far. |

You may also wish to try red LED rejuvenation treatments. I saw an improvement with most lines on my face, with some even disappearing if I kept using the LED device.
Instead of going to a spa to get this done, I bought the Tanda device from this website and I'm glad I did!!!
Having said that, the device did not eliminate the lines around my mouth, but they are much less obvious.
I will be looking at the flexEffect excercise, next. Until now I thought it was a hoax, but seems some ladies on this forum believe in it. Will give it a shot! |

I had fillers for mine, it didn't make them completley disppear but it made them much less visible. |

After looking over some B&A pics from a trusted source, I just ordered this product. I was floored by their results.
FlexEffect also seems to be the only solution for slight jawline sag, short of a face list! |

FlexEffect is one of the best things I did for myself!
Never done any fillers, and do not see them needed with FlexEffect! |
