Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had experienced any side effects from taking these ? After taking 1 a day for only about 2 days, I start to feel extremely tired, with a really heavy feeling that lasts all day. If I continue to take them, I start to develop a cold, from the tiredness I guess. I have tried several brands, and also tried stopping taking them, then restarting,
any advice anyone ?

Maybe you are allergic to something in them?? Chicken? I believe it's derived from rooster sternums and combs. |

Check your ingredients. Maybe try hyaluronic acid only supplements without the collagen from chicken (BioCell Collagen II) if the ones you have been taking have both... |

Hi Ladies,
thanks for your reply's. I think I tried one brand that contained a derivative of Chicken, but the other brands had no mention of this in the ingredients, so I really can't pinpoint it. I seem to get the same feeling from Collagen supplements aswell. Can anyone think of a link between these types of supplements that could be causing a reaction like this ?
thanks again

I think it is a reaction to the collagen, that's why I recommended you trying one for sure that does not include it. You could also be reacting to the HA, or to any fillers, or the process of how they got the ingredients, etc. Everyone is different. But I think the most likely suspect is the collagen.
You can find HA without the collagen - usually found in the joint section of health food stores. |

thanks ladies, I might see if I can find something a bit purer, and hopefully I won't react to it,

I took them and didn't get a tired feeling, but I broke out in little bumps all over my face and patches of them on my arms. Too bad because they really did plump up my lips. |

hhm that sounds scary... I don't think I'll be trying them then. BTW, if collagen is included in those multivitamin, would that cause an allergic reaction such as breaking out or fatigue?? |

Really frightening . I read something about allergic reactions on hyaluronic acid when it's won from chicken, but no symptoms were listed. |
